Unexpected Gem!

Running low on fuel in unfamiliar territory can be a little scary. Google maps was supposed to find my nearest fuel, but the place looked deserted. I carried on and found what I needed most. Then I realized I needed “person fuel”.

Google maps showed me this delightful unexpected g of a deli and ice cream shop. Delighted at the variety on the menu too. Tried the grilled chicken with Swiss which was very satisfying as part of the meal, with potato salad and iced tea (half sweet please).

Finished it off with a delicious pistachio cheesecake. I honestly cannot remember last time I had cheesecake that wasn’t a no-bake. Price was a little high on the sweet, but honestly it can be a 2 person...

Very nice venue. Sheak, yet antique/vintage apparel for decor. Family friendly, yet not a place to hold large birthday parties. Very delicious sandwiches, and the cheesecake is absolutely amazing. This is a very clean diner, and I felt bad after walking in on an "out of town" lunch at work. I am a Master Electrician, and I was a dirty mess as I had been working hard that particular day. Yet, we were served and treated the same as everyone else. I have since been back with my family. If you're in this area, you should definitely stop...

Place is neat. Food taste good. Portions are small. Hers what's not small. The price. One burger. Very small. Potato salad. Two very small scoop. 20 Oz drink filled to the top with ice and a piece of cheesecake. Just shy of 25.00. I about fell over when she said 23something and turned the screen for a tip. I added 1.00.
