Is a very good place to go spend time with family and friends. But my experience was not good at all, mainly because of how their system works.
Their website has no mention about the mini golf pricing, reservation, etc (which is the main attraction of the place if you are going with family and kids). I called the place to ask about mini golf and I was given completely incorrect information that the mini golf is priced per party (1 to 6 players) and per hour at the rate of around $22 This info turned out to be incorrect since when I visited in person I was told that there is no time limit for mini golf and the cost is actually $5 per person and not based on a party. Since I thought I could only stay in mini golf for one hour, I pre-reseved the main bay for one one from when I planned to visit the place. My idea was to spend 1 hour in mini golf and then go to the main area. We couldn't fully utilize the mini golf time and we're forced to move to main bay area (even though there is no time limit on miningolf) bcz the front desk was very rigid on my reservation time for the main bay. We went on a Thursday night when literally the place was deserted and even after requesting they dint allow to push my reservation slot by 15 or 30min to the next slot. Moreover, their stupid computers in the main bay are slow and ask you to enter the details of all the players. This includes info like phone number, email address, etc (either this or you just play without getting a chance to type player names). Just ssk for player names and that's it. Also, their app option asks $5 per person to setup their account. Not sure what that is. Just setup everything from the screen and it shouldn't cost you extra.
If you want to be so strict about everything, then should clearly specify all the information on your website or provide the correct info when someone calls you. Or atleast you should be flexible enough to let me move my scheduled slot to next slot especially bcz there is literally no body using the next slots for the day anyways.
What's the point of having humans attending customers when you are rigid like computers? You should be able to adapt to the situation accommodate reasonable requests from customers :(
Update (Jul 12): Top golf replied to my review asking me to reach out to them. So, I sent out my issues as feedback on their page. I will update here when I get a...
Read moreWas excited for the "scratch-made" food. Mostly disappointed overall. To be fair, the place has only been open two weeks, but we were pretty unimpressed.
First, the golf ... we checked online but couldn't find any options to make reservations. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and a 2.5hr wait. We decided to stay and check out the food, but we didn't stay long enough to play. We will be back to check out that part. It did look like everyone was having a lot of fun.
The food started out great. The Thai chill cauliflower app was REALLY good. Very lightly breaded, amazing sauce, and gone in a flash. Based on that, we were excited for our entrees. We went with the black bean burger and the spicy chicken -- one with the "natural cut" fries, the other with Cajun fries.
The sandwiches came out looking like they'd been lightly squashed in a Panini press or something. The "natural cut" fries (whatever that means... can't say I've ever seen potatoes cut "naturally") were disappointing. They were just ordinary frozen fries that somehow managed to be not good. The were chewy and cold. There was a light dusting of Cajun spice on one order, but probably half that much spice on the regular order. Genuinely terrible fries overall.
Both sandwiches were barely warm. The black bean burger was ok. The flavor was decent and it seemed plausible that the patty was house-made. The chicken, though, was awful. It looked like a McDonald's spicy McChicken sandwich. Ok, it was an actual chicken breast rather than a processed patty, but size and appearance were similar. The meat was just on the edge of dry /overcooked. the sauce, which was supposed to be spicy, was almost flavorless. Whatever sauce there was had soaked into the breading completely making it not crispy at all but also not saucy. (Since the sandwich was barely warm, I can only guess it sat there quite a while before being served.) It was topped with a small amount of coleslaw, which didn't overcome the dryness or lack of flavor.
Overall, bummed out about the food, especially since they've made that a big selling point. The place is nice and it's likely that it will get better as they get through startup. Worth checking out, but not yet ready...
Read moreCame here for the first time with my friends. We ordered a large amount of food for our party which came out on a timely manner, but the food didn’t seem like it was cooked fresh. A lot of the food was warmish or almost cold. We had a tab for drinks and when it was time to checkout, the female bartender there seemed super rude and kept asking who opened our tab like it mattered. Just look for my credit card under my name and let me pay and leave. We tried to play some golf at their driving range. We got set for a tee box and got settled in, but they split up our parties into 2 groups which was ok except for the fact that they split us up across each other vs right next to each other. It wasn’t busy and there were plenty of booths around us so why not set us up next to each other. We requested then and requested after, to please at least make the booths next to each other so our parties who are also spectating, isn’t so far apart, buuut they didn’t want to accommodate. On top of that, their screen scoring system wasn’t working at all from the very beginning and they tried to charge us for the time we were waiting for them to fix it. We ended up challenging them and we got it squashed. They later tried to move us, but by then, we just felt irritated and canceled the whole golf thing. The only thing I think we all enjoyed was playing on their large foosball table located on the second floor. They have a nice area outside on the first floor where you can play on a huge Battleship game board, foosball, and/or corn hole. They also have a mini golf outside, but we didn’t do that.
Some of the staff were friendly and fast, but I felt the ones we dealt with that night were inexperienced when it comes to dealing with issues and resolving them. Overall, seems like a nice place to chill and have fun, but the experience we had that night left a sour taste in our mouths. One of the worst experiences for service that I’ve had in a long time. The parking lot is huge so you shouldn’t have issues finding any. They have lots of tables and chairs...
