Crosby's Drive-In — Restaurant in Bucksport

I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon fully loaded with fries and I got a strawberry lemonade I'm going to start with the burger this double. Patty Burger was juicy well seasoned. I had to go back and let the chef know that he did his thing on this burger. I told him don't quit cuz that burger was well seasoned. I didn't even need the other condiments that was on the burger. I could have had the burger with the cheese and the bacon. I ain't need no lettuce, no tomato but it just enhanced the flavor of the burger. My straight cut fries well seasoned off the rib. Didn't need no ketchup and that strawberry lemonade I still have it right now I'm pouring Dr. Pepper in my strawberry lemonade the friend that's of what's left over but it's still good. I give this restaurant a 10 out of a 10 because it was off the chain service. Polite, friendly, well helpful. Great with suggestions on...

We stopped on our way from Bar Harbor to Rockland and I got my first lobster roll. I gotta say, it’s not for me, because I couldn’t get over seeing the meat in the shape of the claws, lol. But it didn’t taste bad. The fries were delicious! My husband tried the fried clams and he liked them. The kids got chicken tenders, and hot dogs and a pb&j. The hot dogs were pinkish-red and freaked them out a bit, but they ate them. The kids meals come with a drink and ice cream. People working were very nice and the food took maybe 10 minutes to prepare. Not bad. It was expensive though, but seems everything in Maine is. They have lots of outdoor seating, lots of it covered for shade, ample parking, a playground for kids...

Delicious food and incredible service. We stopped by Crosby’s Drive-In on our way to Bar Harbor, and the place did not disappoint!

The menu was extensive — seafood, burgers, ice cream, and much more — and the prices were unbeatable. We got two double cheeseburgers and fries for $23. You just can’t beat that! They were fresh and delicious.

Note that they don’t have indoor seating. This is a place where you drive up and order, but that’s part of the charm. We loved the outdoor seating, too — plenty of picnic tables in shaded and sunny areas. Also… the bathrooms were spotless.

We will definitely stop by again during our next drive...
