Texas Keeper is the most beautiful and enchanting cidery I have ever been to.
I celebrated my 30th birthday here yesterday, and it was the absolute best time. I was able to reserve a few tables outside and decorate for my own little garden picnic. I spoke with their event manager Nour for the reservation - she was very helpful in answering all of my questions and communicating with the cidery.
On the day of my event, Bri and the entire staff were super accommodating and so so wonderful! The build-your-own picnic was fun to customize and even more fun to eat. Every jam, cheese and other accouterments were delicious.
As far as the ciders, No 1 has always been my number one, but I discovered Moonlight and I may have a new favorite! Both are sweet and refreshing.
I’m beyond thrilled with my experience every time I visit, and I’m so happy the taproom is open again. I highly recommend bringing your friends and sharing the magic of...
Read moreThis is my new favorite cidery/brewery in Austin! It's like a superior, cozier, and much less crowded version of Jester King! It's located just outside of Austin so it's convenient, and everything about it is fantastic. The ciders are delicious - my favorites are the seasonal Cider Noir and the Honey Thief Cyser with the Ciderweizen being a close third, and flight is a great way to try them for only $9! They also have guest ciders, some wine, sakes, and mead, plus fun cider cocktails to try. I'm not a beer or cider person normally, but Texas Keeper has converted me. The Puli-Ra food truck is now also on-site which is delicious though the portions are pretty small. The area is quiet and in the beautiful Hill Country, so it's a great spot to hang with friends and dogs on a sunny day! They have bocce ball and cornhole to play, live music, and free yoga from noon-1pm on Sundays! There are also occasionally...
Read moreI absolutely LOVED it here! Like the other reviews say, it gives more of a winery vibe than a brewery/cidery. I came in early afternoon on a Saturday and it was very quiet. Family friendly so there were children and babies, but so respectful and well behaved. I didn't spend time outside because of the heat, but it looked cozy out there as well.
I can't remember the name of the kind woman that helped me, but she seemed very knowledgeable and her recommendations were dead on based off my taste in wine/cider/cocktails in general.
The cider flight was delicious - big fan of the grafter rosé - and I got a glass of the heirloom as well. So delicious that I'm thinking of ordering a few bottles online and shipping them to my home state! The pretzel was great as well - I am not a big pretzel lover so take that with a grain of salt. I'd absolutely be back if I didn't live across...
