I first attended a tasting years prior to my wedding at an expo located at Whispering Oaks and knew immediately I wanted Ard's to cater our wedding. Fast forward to our first tasting at Ards. We were sat down at a table and then completely ignored. After leaving the eating area they have linen rentals as well as their other rentals displayed for your viewing. I mosied around and still nobody approached me. Finally I walked up to who I now know as Kyle and started to ask her questions. Mind you the entire time she walked around to each table at the tasting except for mine. Telling them about the foods, rentals ect. That left a bad taste in my mouth but whatever, I loved the food and I proceeded to order and plan for the event. I had to reschedule my wedding from May to August, fortunately they were easy to work with being that my wedding was on a Wednesday. Very grateful for that. Finally, to the day of the wedding. Catering arrives and I'm immediately told my by event coordinator that Kyle was extremely rude to ber. One event in the days schedule was no longer happening but it had no affect on caterings schedule. There was no reason for her to have given her a hard time. I believed my coordinator immediately because that's how myself and my family were treated at the tasting. I absolutely love Ard's but I believe that the face of the catering dept is more concerned with how much money can be made, not the people depending on their services. I believe because my wedding was only around 35 people it wasn't a big enough money maker compared to the larger weddings they cater. I was treated like I was less than and the day of my wedding she showed up with the same attitude. I actually had guests ask me who the woman with the miserable face was and I had to reply that was the cater. I highly recommend Ards food although it is extremely pricey. The employees are always great but Kyle has a serious attitude problem. My wedding was three weeks ago and I wasn't going to write this but it's been weighing on my heart heavily and I feel that I deserved better. I also thought others should be aware in the future! If you're getting that vibe from her, PLEASE go to a different place where you and your money are appreciated and respected.

The most fall fun our family has had in some time! There are plenty of things to do for kids of all ages (from 1-101 and then some). We enjoyed the hayride first, let the kids find the " biggest" pumpkins in the patch. After the treasurs were safely stowed away, we entered the giant maze. So much fun! Afterwards, there were all these neat activities for the kiddos to enjoy: sliding down maze mountain, fossil digging, punchin' pumpkin race, corn cannon, pumpkin cannon, feeding the animals, zip line, play ground,... not a chance for them to sit still - everywhere they turned there was something else to discover. Once we tried all the activities at least once, we went to the on-site restaurant. The little tummies we're hungry and the food was plenty. Not only is there an all-you- can-eat salad bar, but also everything on the menu is delicious. Between our family we had a good crosscut of the menu, from burgers to fish, chicken pot pie, and Italian portabello mushroom caps. We all enjoyed our entrees and desserts! After meeting the owner and giving our compliments to the chef we toured the shop and found some goodies for later. Finally we had to go home after a fun filled time at Ard's farm. We are definitely coming back here.

We stopped in for brunch. It reminded me of a small-scale Cracker Barrel, and I can say with confidence it is so much more!! Forgive my pictures, I had already started drinking my Apple Cider Float and cutting up my waffles before taking pictures so the presentation is not there and they don't do justice to how amazing everything tasted. The staff were so kind and helpful with bringing a booster for my almost 2 year old. His hot dog was cut into a cute octopus shape! My husband had the Yosimities Burger which looked good, but we both agree was not as good as mine!! It's two days later and I'm still thinking about it. It is the Whiskey Waffles, which is "SLICED BANANAS SLICED AND FLAMBEED IN A WHISKEY PAN CARAMEL SAUCE, POURED OVER BELGIAN SUGAR PEARL WAFFLES AND TOPPED WITH CRUMBLED BACON”. Every bite was full of flavor and it worked so well. After we ate we walked around the store side. The meat in the cooler looked really good, and I will definitely have to come back to get something at the soda shop next time! We got a bunch of candy and headed out. We will definitely be back!!!

This past weekend we had my son's 5th birthday there. While the kids had fun out door, and the farm itself was beautiful, the party experience was not acceptable for the cost ! The person in charge of booking parties and organizing did not greet us upon arrival, hence we had no idea where we were to go. Finally after 30 minutes ( after my party was suppose to start, with guest already there) trying to find her and any worker for that matter there demeanor was not at all acceptable as if they were bothered by us; only one small table set up for 17 children to sit. Meanwhile I had given the person in charge a count a week earlier. It was very frustrating that we had to go hunt down the workers every time we needed something; our food, drink, etc. As far as the food, the pizza was very dry and cold tasted like Dominos pizza. One suggestion is to allow the children's birthday parties inside then have them go out in the farm, if not, they need to have a worker in attendance at the parties. This was not like anything I would have imagined for $400.00. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed and let the friends and family that were not in attendance to see this debacle, of this very disappointing experience. Furthermore, many of my son's parents that were there and debating on whether or not to have their children's' party there, have decided not to, hence a loss of alot...

To say Ard’s Farm knocked it out of the park as caterers for our wedding would truly be an understatement; they far exceeded our expectations! They were polite, professional, and so easy to work with--all the qualities you want from a vendor when planning a wedding. Oh, and not to mention, everything was absolutely delicious! It’s been three months since our wedding and we still have guests raving about the food.

From our first meeting through wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We worked with Alison, and she was an absolute joy! She guided us through the whole process, answering all of our questions, keeping us on track with all the required deadlines, and making us feel confident that everything would run smoothly day of. We knew we had nothing to worry about with Alison on-site, making everything run smoothly food-wise. We also had Ard’s cater our rehearsal dinner, which, again, was absolutely phenomenal!

For us, the highlights were the smoked macaroni and cheese and the brisket. One of our guests discovered a previously unrealized affinity for portobello mushrooms! In terms of appetizers, the tomato soup shooters were particular hits. Although those three stood out, we could go on and on about how amazing all of the menu items were. Thanks, Ard’s, for making our wedding day memorable and delicious! We’ll be sure to drop by...
