Hot Spot — Restaurant in Buffalo

Honestly, this place looks creepy inside. there is dust everywhere in their kitchen, even above their stoves. its ridiculous. the quality of their food is not worth the price they put on it. their pizza doesnt taste fresh, i think they get ready made dough, because their dough is always chewy. their fries were soggy by the time they gave it to me, but the seasoning on them were good. i ate food at a wedding party that was made by them too and the rice had way too much rose water in it and the chicken was dry. i think they don't care about food quality anymore, just about the money. and there are always people outside of their restaurant that are dealing something, maybe drugs or illegal cigarettes. idk, the place should improve, and so should the people who eat there, their taste in food needs...

This is a busy restaurant, so make a reservation well in advance. It also a loud restaurant - the acoustics are simply not great, but don't let that deter you. The food is consistently wonderful. We have been to this restaurant a number of times for both brunch and dinner, and we have always had a wonderful meal. Our most recent visit was for brunch. Some of our brunch favorites, from this and past visits, include the seafood benedict (with crab cakes vs. Canadian bacon), the huevos rancheros, and the walnut encrusted french toast. The food was good but it was terrible customer service. Throughout my conversation with cashier I mentioned I called for my order. Then the cook came and started asking for a name for the order (which they never asked for on the call) I told him I called and I wasn’t asked for a name. He started raising his voice. He started asking for ID and then aggressively saying “I don’t know you who are you” etc. In the end I had to bring in my mom to talk to the cook since he refused to listen to me in a civil manner. He insisted I said I ordered online (which I never did) and that I was yelling (I was not).
