Tap Inn By R Social — Restaurant in Buffalo

I have been to R Social several times and based on good experiences I was excited to try the Tap Inn.

I had the Fiesta Rice bowl and thought it was good but lacking the flavors I expected. I asked our server for hot sauce and ended up with ghost pepper sauce from the kitchen - this totally made the dish for me! It was awesome! Others in our party of 6 ordered burgers, a chicken club, another Fiesta Rice bowl and our birthday girl had chicken wings with a side of brussel sprouts. Everyone was happy with their food except, unfortunately, our birthday girl. The brussel sprouts were ice cold, she sent them back and waited another 20 minutes for the fresh order, we had to ask if they would be out soon and when the server brought them, again they were cold. We asked to have the sprouts removed from the bill which the server did without a problem.

It was a bummer that the birthday girl’s food was messed up twice. I hope to try the Tap Inn again once they have the full menu up and running. Service was friendly but could be faster. Recommend installing a heat lamp to keep food hot while sitting in the window waiting to...

Food was good. Ordered a kids cheese pizza and white milk from the menu for my daughter and she got a pepperoni pizza. That was fine and the waitress did ok that with us when she brought everyone else's food out. I really just didn't want to have to make my impatient 3 year old wait any longer. She also brought her a water stating she could find milk. We went in at 5:45pm on a Sunday, they were not very busy at all but our service was very slow and the waitress had to be asked for multiple refills, napkins, silverware and our tab. Great that Buffalo has a good restaurant! We love R Social in Roger’s. However, much needs to be done to improve the lighting at Tap Inn which is way to bright! Dimmers are needed and adding bar pendants would help. Customers enjoy a nice dining ambiance not a “Dennys” like atmosphere. Hope that improves! We’ll...
