I'm not quite sure what happened to my previous review from YEARS ago.... Maybe i deleted it in error while trying to edit photos.

If you've been to the Dawg House, then you already know this review isn't for you. This review is for anyone online looking for a place to eat.

What to expect at the Dawg House:

Fresh food Amazing taste Large variety of items to pick from Great price Amazing/kind service

They can get busy during peak hours, so if you're in a hurry and expecting to order and get your food in 3-5 minutes... go to a fast food joint instead. This family is amazing and always makes sure everything you get is FRESH. Freshness can take time, so sit down with a friend, enjoy a conversation, and enjoy the feast you're about to receive.

A few of my favorites are:

Their wings (Lemmon peper and mango jabañero... best wings I know of), their burgers (they also have smash burgers now), their chicken Philly (pictured here), their chili cheese dog, etc etc etc... you get the point.

The Dawg House is honestly one of only a FEW places where I've been going for years, and EVERY item is great. I've never had a visit where i thought, "eh... not a fan. " Makes it tough because when you go back, you don't know what to get because it is all good.

During peak hours, sitting inside may be a bit tough to find as the space is on the smaller side. Order to go if you're visiting during peak hours.

They have a COCA-COLA machine for self serve delicious and crisp sodas.

I'll be sure to update more photos as I visit. Shame all the pictures I've taken through the years are gone, but this just means I get to go back and retry everything on...

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give The Dawg House a huge shout out.

I've visited this establishment a fair amount of times since the beginning of 2023, and I can say every time I've visited I've gotten hot delicious food, served by the loveliest and kindest people, and have been surrounded by other customers who are having a great time. I tend to get carry out because the place can be a little loud and cramped, but that's a byproduct of running a good business with plenty of return customers.

The dining room is kept clean, the veggies are always fresh, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are the definition of fair. They have a nice variety of sodas at the fountain, including Jarritos and Cheerwine, as well as great sweet tea.

They have a pretty vast menu but from what I've tried over the year, you can't go wrong with any of it. If you're on the fence, the Double Bark Burger or ANYTHING with their fried shrimp are certified home runs.

If you're on a lunch break I would consider calling in your order ahead, they cook everything fresh and their level of attention to detail deserves a few more minutes of patience. By no means are they slow, but they're not slinging food out of the kitchen like a fast food joint.

Give this place a shot, you'll be back before you know it. Bring your appetite, and bring a friend. This local legend deserves all the support...

I have read some of the reviews and my husband and I decided to have a date night last night and try this place out. I don't even know where to start! I guess with Evan who is the owner's son. He was so polite and helpful during our ordering. Came over to our table to see if everything was ok and did we need anything. Who does that at a fast food place? Asked us our names and we felt like we made a new friend before we left. My husbands burger was excellent. That is his words. I ordered the Fried white fish. Oh my gosh soooooo good! We can't wait to go back and try other things. The prices are good and the food is good but topped off with the best customer service! Thank you to Evan and Oh by the way we went next door to the Marathon gas station for a lotto ticket and got the same treatment from Tahjo who also gushed about the owner of the dog house. It seems niceness rubs off! What a great experience!

Went back to the Dawg house for Lunch and I have to tell you I got the freshest Salad I have ever had in my life. They must grow their own vegetables because I can't find anything this good in the stores! Their spicy ranch dressing was excellent too. I shouldn't brag so much because too many people will go here! But I can't believe this is fast food! The best we have ever had! so good...
