After previously been served the night before, we went again for brunch. To start off they took a very long time to come to our table we waited 10+ minutes for someone to attend us. When the waiter did come he looked very suspicious and didnât even write our drinks down and just asked for our ids and took them with him. He said that the manager is being very weird and wanted to take a look at them before they can serve us. After a while the manager came out and said that he will not serve us due to us being âunder 21â. They took our ids away for a suspiciously long time to check them and refused service to serve us. The owner/manager did not even try to accommodate us and try to serve us lunch. We were just looking to go out for brunch have a drink and talk in between friends. We felt racially profile from their workers and all the customer that were there. If I could give them no stars I would! We will never be going there again.
Edit: After reading the respond to my review I am surprised to say the least that yâall wouldnât mention anything about us being racially profiled! The same manager/owner was there the first time we went and they still proceeded to serve us drinks after showing identification! This time we went again felt different! We got ugly stares from all theirs workers. If there was a problem with us looking under 30 we would have been denied service the first time we went! WE WERE...
Read moreThis restaurant combines elegance with creativity. The patio seating amongst the Texas hill country is a must-visit for anyone looking for a picture-perfect dining spot. The service staff offers a perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. Every cocktail that I tried was executed perfectly, the kind of drinks that makes you stare at your glass after every sip in all! The menu itself grabbed my heart, the fact that itâs not a âphone bookâ with 210 different options let me know right away I was in for a curated experience. The quail with strawberry citrus salad is so delicate, so delicious, so perfect. The hurriache with wagyu steak reminded me of my motherâs cooking and instantly took back to my childhood. The moment I was informed the menu changes every 3 months I marked my calendar, this place is progressively becoming the restaurant to watch you can feel the momentum itâs a different kind of energy than anything Iâve experienced. Chef Tatu is truly a generational talent that is revealing in each dish where heâs been, where heâs from, and what he represents. The people behind this restaurant have done everything right and it shows in every aspect of this stunning one of a...
Read more5 of us had dinner here last night, some really good aspects, but some things to improve on. Lovely place, and environment. Manny our server was great, but the place was pretty empty, to be fair. The venison lettuce cups and bruschetta appetizers were really good, the pork chop my friends shared was a really nice-sized cut and tasted good, worth the $45. As for me, I ordered the scallops and it was 4 small scallops over a small collection of veggies, definitely not worth price. Another friend got the crispy skin snapper and it was literally floating in butter, so I declined a taste. The cocktail situation was interesting. There are no prices on the menu so it's quite a surprise when you get the bill. My friend ordered two skinny margaritas and asked for Don Julio. When she got the check, they were a whopping $22 EACH. Where are we, NYC, Las Vegas? And they were small, came in highball sized glasses. I ordered Old Fashioneds with Buffalo Trace, but those were each $14 or so, which I find about normal, so the pricing is really odd. I'd be willing to give it another go for brunch or if I went for dinner again, I'd order the venison cups as my main, or...
