I am a frequent customer of the Louisburg location. I eat at this location at minimum twice a month and often times more. In the recent 3 months I have come in twice and received deplorable service. Both times have been on a Sunday evening. Most recent was this Sunday November 11 2018. Myself and two other people came in to eat. This was around the 12 pm hour and the restaurant was relatively empty. We were escorted to the back of the restaurant and seated. When it was time to place orders myself and the person I was with did so. Our servers name was Tatiana. She was noticeably not friendly but I brushed it off and ordered. She asked my mother what's she wanted to order and my mother explained to her that she would order her food to go once myself and the other person was done with our meal. She took our orders with no pad and I explained to her how I wanted my food. Specifically that I wanted no cheese and lettuce on my food but to the side. Also that pico de Gallo should be on the food. When my food came it was completely wrong I didn't take it from the food runner and sent it back. While waiting for my food to come back the waitress asked my mother again was she ready to order she did this repeatedly . The restaurant was at this time still virtually empty. The second time my food came I noticed the that is was the same food only with the toppings discarded. I could literally see the traces of the old toppings. I sent this food back. By this time I have spent more time waiting than eating. Finally fresh food was served to me but it was still not done properly. Eating one taco I was not pleased but was tired of being treated like I was wrong for wanting proper food. I asked to speak with the manager Eduardo who insisted on charging me for food that I had to send back twice. I gave them back my to go box and explained that I would only pay for my drink he argued with me and insisted that since I ate the food I would have to pay for it. I explained that I had sent the food back twice. I was disgusted with his attitude and asked him was his and his staffs behavior based on my skin color. I explained this was my second occurrence of being mistreated there and wanted to speak to his manager. None of the white clients where being rushed through a poorly cooked meal. He refused multiple times and gave me a number to speak to a David. Eduardo was very upset at me so instead I decided to send this email to another location. I will also be doing a Yelp review because I was very dissapointed in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis used to be hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant for years. I've lived in louisburg for for 15+ years and went here regularly. There's been changes with management and possibly owners in the recent years but man when I was here the other day, it was absolutely terrible.
I ordered a quesadilla with refried beans and rice on the side and also got a Margerita. They brought out the food and did not bring out the refried beans I asked for and brought out a plate of rice. When I got the refried beans, they put it in a shell for some reason and the beans were not mashed as if they just opened a can of pinto beans and threw it in a taco shell bowl.
I took a bite of the quesadilla and it was absolutely burnt and charred. I opened it up and the veggies were black and the shrimp was lukewarm. I asked the waitress about it and I was polite and she was taken aback for some reason. So she got the manager. Manager was probably the worst manager I've met in a while. I was explaining the issues with my food and he seemed shocked and kept trying to convince me that it was fine. I told him I wanted a refund for everything I had and he only took off one item. And he didn't refund my Margerita that I didn't drink.
I was proud to give a fat zero on the tip line when he forced me to pay for things I didn't even eat or drink.
It's pretty sad that a MANAGER can't or doesn't want to accept criticism from customers to make the restaurant excel. I went home and made it myself instead. I'd like my $33 back,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās a āNever Againā moment for me! Our party was large, about people 15 of us, so I can understand some mistakes. However, almost everyoneās food order had a mistake. In addition to the multiple mistakes, some people in my party ordered the same items and got completely different presentations of the same order. I received my order and sent it back, I donāt know what type of quesadillas they make, but it was one Iāve never seen in all of my existence (the Quesadilla De Mar). Iāve been to Mexico and never had a quesadilla like the one they brought to the table (I wish I remembered to take a picture of it before sending it back). It looked more like a large fajita lightly grazed with cheeseā¦and my order did not come with all the sides the menu said it would. One person in my party never even received their order, and they were fine with this after seeing how my my quesadilla turned out. It could have been a language barrier, understandable and okay with me in all honesty. But I do wonder what form of service a native of their culture, or a non melanated person that does not speak this establishmentās native languageā¦overstand the lines that need to be read between, would receive. And to top it off they still had the order I sent back to the kitchen on the bill, another things that needed to be corrected. Itās a strong NO for me,...
