You are also right, I did not let the lady who answered the phone speak- after being laughed at, chuckled at and saying no..that's not what happened let me explain- when I was the one that spoke to the previous young lady that apparently is not telling someone exactly what she said.
As someone who said they are the owner (one who made the reply) I understand there is 2 sides to every story but to say that there was a miscommunication just not by your staff is bold. You were not the one I spoke to either time on the phone, you did not hear nor witness the conversations we had or you would know that what is being said by the 2 ladies is completely false- either way what is done is done, trust in a local business who was once our go to is now gone, and your business forgotten.**
This used to be our go to spot, we loved the food. However, today changed all that. I placed an order online as I usually do for us to pick up, everything was going as planned until my husband started to head to Louisburg to pick up our order. Traffic was so backed up, he had been sitting for about 10 minutes, and it was stop traffic- so I called Fuji express as I wanted to see if they started the order. A younger girl answered the phone, I told them who i was and why I was calling. She then told me she could not tell me anything about online orders and only her manager could, I asked her just to look to see if it was started because I did not know when my husband was going to be able to get there, and if it was not started, we might cancel it. She asked me what site I made the online order from, I said your website and she paused and said usually orders are placed from a 3rd party. I then said your website and she told me she did not see an online order, she asked me my name and phone number and said that she could not tell me anything about online orders and would have the manager call me back. Well, we did not hear from them for about 45 minutes, that is how long it took my husband to make it there (usually it only take about 15 minutes to get there). So, since we did not hear from them, I thought they just got busy, and it was an oversight...no big deal. When he gets there and goes in and asks for the food they smiled and said it was cancelled. He then explained it was not, no one ever called and let us know anything...as they were supposed to do. So, they said they could make the food but there would be a wait. He said no thank you and left. I called up there to speak to the manager since she was the one that had to of cancelled it, she is the only one that deals with online orders is what I was told yet there was no manager on duty- so how did my order get cancelled? When I questioned the woman on the other end she just laughed, when I asked what happened to my order she laughed again. I said it's not funny he just wasted 45 minutes to get there to pick up our food because we wanted to make sure we did the right thing as we ordered food from you and didn't get a call back. Again, I got a little chuckle, and she said ma'am- well I had it by then nothing she said could excuse the laughter, the lack of care for their customer. Hopefully this does not happen to...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by this place. I eat hibachi often enough and I love the quick hibachi places for lunch. This place was larger than I expected and very clean. No smells. No mess. Neat and squared away. The employees were friendly and busy working (nice change from what we’re all setting far too often) I spent $18.04 on steak and shrimp plus a bottle of water. Seems to be about the going rate in todays economy. What surprised me was the amount and quality of the food. The shrimp was excellent, like dinner time sit down to eat type quality and also considerably more than you get at places like hibachi express or similar lunch time meals. I give the shrimp 6 out of 5 stars. The steak was good and also more than usual amount. Plus it was cooked correctly. I’ll give it about 4.5 out of 5. On to the veggies…normal amount. The veggies I like were very good, except the mushrooms were just ok. (That most likely had to do with the type of mushroom not the quality) I don’t eat broccoli or carrots so I have no opinion on them. But again, everything was cooked/prepared very well. The rice was good. Maybe not on par with the rice cooked in front of you at a hibachi grill but better than any rice I’ve had at any other fast food hibachi. Lastly, it came with two containers of yum yum sauce which had great taste and more than enough for me. I usually get some kind of ginger based sauce for my steak because I don’t like yum yum on everything but today I didn’t bother. All said and done, Fuji beats anything I’ve had in Raleigh. And today I left there fat dumb and happy. So...
Read moreBeen wanting to try & hoping to find a local place for good Chinese food. Since had few good recent reviews I decided to get takeout. I was very disappointed. Food very costly & as others stated not very tasty. Get alot of food but quantity does not makeup for quality for me. Rare to post negative review but here's my thoughts: Fried chicken wings are whole wing(3parts yuck) & overcooked not tasty- tried 1 threw rest away/ Steak and Shrimp Hibachi no flavor tried doctor up with soy sauce & duck sauce but Steak not good quality & vegs :( / Egg drop soup as usual but one with wonton not ok to me Wontons huge couldn't figure out how eat really threw away/ Shrimp Fried rice got with Wings was plain no egg & only big onion chunks Maybe just me but I don't plan to return. Have eaten lots of Hibachi that my son makes on his Hibachi grill & in restaurants cooked in front of us. This place not good experience. Pics are my leftovers most likely toss today...
