Marcie's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Burkesville

Current update on the breakfast and the service we received last time we ate here. My wife and I were in Town and decided to stop again for breakfast. My to our surprise and disappointment the breakfast menu changed. Was a bit confusing and when we asked about the new menu our waitress was less than helpful and not very friendly. Our food was just not that good either. Our waitress spent more time looking at her phone and didn’t seem concerned that we were out of coffee and water. It seemed that the atmosphere was very different than the other times we visited I hope they realize we’re not the only people that noticed the change in service and the quality of the food. Sorry but for now we’re going to try the other restaurant next time for breakfast. Maybe they will focus on service over Facebook. I’m changing my review.

Visited for the first time. Wife and I got breakfast. I got the working boy platter and got the Country platter. Good breakfast food. Big portions for the price! Reading the other reviews it amazes me that people says this is such a friendly place of business. Maybe it just depends on who you are. I visited yesterday, which was my second trip here, wasn't to impressed the first visit, and sure wasn't on my second visit. My sister and I both ordered the chicken strip dinner, which stated it came with fries or Cole slaw and a side salad. My sister ask if she could get fried mushrooms instead of fries and said she didn't care to pay extra for upgrading to the mushrooms, and it still should have came with the salad, so we thought, I ordered the same thing she did. The price for the dinner was $11.00 best to my memory, our food came out and we both got 2 chicken strips each, 8 or 9 mushrooms and no salad, and was charged $9.50 for it. I went with my father for my first time eating here I saw the food challenge on the back of the menu and I decided to try it. It's been many years since I've done a food challenge and being new in town I wanted to get my street cred I had a 20 minute time frame and I luckily at a good pass not as fast as I could have finished it with around a minute and thirty seconds left. The burger was delicious and was the chicken strip I also enjoyed the salad.
