Um.. Cozy place, friendly staff.. Maybe, I need to try the lunch..Breakfast really didn’t do it for me..First time trying this place figured I’d go all out give me the “Meatlovers” A bunch of microwave cooking on blast..The guy ask me a couple times..Did I want black pepper, like I was in for something special.. I could have went to Dunkin Donuts, for this extra large Croissant sandwich.. A few pieces of different meat, heated to the extreme sandwich.. I’m sorry but, this place is a quick.. I’m hungry, my wife didn’t cook, & I don’t have lunch spot.. Didn’t expect that coming from a local independent...

Wow! Great food with fantastic prices and friendly service. We loved the fluffy biscuits and gravy this morning. Two of us shared the four biscuits & gravy for $5! It was delicious. Next time we’ll try the freshly ground black pepper on top. Breakfast is served from 5:30 - 10:30 am. If you visit here after 10:30 am, the Italian Beef is best I’ve ever had! The “juice” to dip it in tasted like it was made from scratch. Can’t wait to try everything else...

Best biscuits & gravy in the entire country. Hands down. Be sure to order “with pepper” you won’t regret it. Softest homemade biscuits and meatiest gravy. Half order is plenty and only costs 3-4 bucks. Great sandwiches as well. Downtown Chicago quality at half the price. This place is the best kept secret in NWI, been coming here...
