Came here after a couple of friends recommended this spot and well I was craving a torta and was in the area so I decided to stop by. They have a huge selection of tortas to go through, probably should’ve taken a picture of the tortas menu but I was just so in awe by what all goes inside these massive sandwiches! After reading every tortas ingredients I went with the Zocalo and in all honesty I didn’t think it would be as big as it was. The cashier ladies eyes opened so wide when i ordered that torta, I should’ve known it would be big. But she was so kind and made me feel welcomed. It took about 15 minutes to receive my food which seems totally reasonable for something of its size. Took it back to my truck and when I opened that box, my jaw dropped it was unbelievable. Just trying to grab it was so hard let alone take a picture! I went in for that first bite, couldn’t even fit it all so I had to take 2 bites to try to get a bit of everything. So full of flavor! The cheese was nice and gooey, I’m a sucker for some good cheese. The meats were well seasoned, the milanesa was on point and just all in all fantastic. I got full with a less than half of this torta. It was $23 but in all honesty, worth it. I have yet to try other items on their menu but they got a bunch of...

Live in town and always wanted to try their food. Went there with my family around 8pm for a late meal.
8 other people were in front of us ordering, so we waited about 20-minutes for our order to be completed.
I had a light meal of a gordita with a strawberry churro. The gordita was crispy on the outside and soft/fluffy on the inside. I had it stuffed with lengua which was juicy and tender. If you want to make it a meal, I recommend ordering two or three gorditas as the serving was small for one order. Again, I wanted a light meal for myself. The strawberry churro was crispy on the outside, sweet, and fluffy with a gooey strawberry filling. It was delightful.
My son had the steak quesadilla. It was stuffed to the max with a nice cheesiness, cilantro, onions, and crispy texture on the outside.
My husband had the al pastor burrito. We are a fan of al pastor and they were even cooking it on the spicket outside like how al pastor should be. The rice was tender, beans flavorful. And the al pastor was on point.
We had no issues with saltiness.
Definitely...
Read moreWhat a gemstone in the mines!! I saw a video on IG that had one of their famous tortas in it and I knew I had to try one. I had the 4th of July off so I made the drive out from Anoka and I will absolutely be back again!
We got a torta, street tacos, and a burrito. All of the portions were wild- so much food. All of the meat was juicy and well seasoned. The bun on the torta was actual heaven- so soft but held the massive, meaty sandwich together well. You could easily share a torta between 2 people. The tacos were absolutely flawless and classic. I don't normally love corn tortillas but these were bomb. My dad is a picky eater but he housed that burrito so fast. The owner of the truck was so nice and friendly- he had our order done in about ten minutes and had a smile on his face the whole time.
Absolutely try this food truck if you haven't already. I can't wait to come back and get some churros...
