Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Burton

Went there about a month ago. I ordered a small sub. They called me to come get my order because they were closing early due to worker shortage. I make it there at 7:50p they were closing at 8p. I get my order home and they have substituted the bacon with what looks like pork jowl. It was a chunky white square pork fat. I called the next day and the manager informed me that she couldnt give me another sub because i didnt still have the sub or call last night. I told her i threw it away due to covid restaraunts werent supposed to bring food back in once a customer has it. I also reminded her that they closed an hour early due to worker shortage. She said o well we do take food back. She then told me scammers try to do this to get free food. I told her the food was garbage and i didnt want a replacement but i wanted a refund. She said no and even mentioned that she pulled my order history and could see i was a return customer for years. I told her exactly so why tell me about a scammer. She said well im not gonna help you. I said thanks and you basically just lost a long time customer over $8.00. I havent been back since. The quality has definitely went away since covid. We recently moved to the area and found that HH was near us and has a gluten free pizza crust. (Not a fan that HH charges $13 for a personal size pizza but I get that's how gf is. Isn't fair but that isn't this locations fault.) This location is AMAZING! Orders are done very quickly with friendly staff and the food is amazing!!! The cheese bread (not gf) is sooo good! The gluten free pizza (even though it is overpriced and small) is the best gf pizza we have had! It has an actual thick crust which is unlike a lot of gf pizzas. The salads are good and they give a good amount of dressing. Ordering on the ap is ok but needs the glitches to be worked out. Sometimes when I place orders it acts like I placed my order twice. Love that I can track my order through the app. Now HH just needs to come out with a gf cheese bread and we would all set!! - 9/2018 HH switched brands of GF pizza crust it seems. Horrible customer service. I placed a delivery order on Valentine’s Day for the infamous heart shaped bread and pizza. I received a notification that my order was delivered, but my doorbell never rang and nobody knocked on my door. Very confused I checked my front porch and my back porch and nothing had arrived. I called the store immediately and was told the order was wrongfully marked delivered and still in route. Needless to say I never received the item. I contacted the store via online through the link I was provided about the incident. I was contacted via email to come and pickup my money in-store. I never go in store as I have a newborn & it is simply extremely inconvenient to do this— hence why we order delivery and not pickup. It’s almost been a month later and still nothing has been done about my order nor have I received a refund.
