Original Doughboy's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Bushkill Township

If I wanted frozen, pre-made pizza dough that you add sauce and (I think) cheese to, I would have went to Dominos. How do I know this was frozen, premade pizza discs?? I grew up in NY. I lived in NJ. Trust me, I know what REAL pizza is, and this ain't it. Also, each premade disc is perfectly round, and exactly the same thickness throughout the entire pie. I mean PERFECTLY, just like a sewer plate. Even the crust is perfectly the same around the entire pie, sorta like a rope. There's no variation. That doesn't happen with a freshly, made by hand, REAL pizza. I ordered two, one with sausage. The sausage looked like the little meat balls you see in Alpo. This too looked and tasted like pre-cooked, frozen meat. I'm amazed the local yocals think this crap is pizza. Try this in NY or NJ, or even just south of Easton, and you'll be out of business in no time. If a pizza place can't even make fresh pizza, I can only imagine the other food. Walking in here I orginally thought I would be turned away due to them not having a showcase or slices...but alas..they did have slices!. Nice place. Big! They have like 3 dining rooms and I bet this place seats well over 100. The slice came and at first glance it was real thick, definitely not NY style. First bite was a surprise. What was I eating? It was like halfway between thick crust and thin but was definitely Pan Pizza, it had a very airy crispy and delicious crust that can only be from rising and cooking in a Pan. It was so good, and the sauce and cheese were amazing as well. This is very unique pizza and it is absolutely delicious. 2 of these slices and you would be full...and the slice was only 2.39....after the slice I had before this at Isabella's for 2.50...i felt like I hit the Jackpot. Excellent service. Great food and good prices. We were aparty of 8 and never had to call the waitress once. And we took our time and enjoyed each other and our meals. Except variety of food to choose from 😋😋😃 Today 4/17 we were a party of 7. We sat at our usual table coming from the Kingdom Hall. Service was almost immediate and courteous. Our waitress went above and beyond for us. We stood there talking and eating for about 2 hrs. All of my guests were stuffed and took away doggie bags. Good prices on beer and bar drinks as well. I give atmosphere a 4 only because it's right off highway and not scenic - but we go there to eat not look at a lake. We Love the place and you will too. Also...
