Anna Maria's Pizza and More — Restaurant in Butler Township

My husband and I were craving good hoagies and last minute we noticed Anna's was opened so we stopped hoping they'd give us something to enjoy. When we got there the lady taking our order was surely swamped with work and she felt bad telling us it'd be a 55min wait for two hoagies so before I could even ask my husband his thoughts she was the sweetest and said I'm not cooking tonight, but I'll personally throw them in just may take time because I'm taking order's. Well who could say no to someone as awesome as that. We've wanted to try their food for years but for some reason or another we always missed them or just didn't get up that way. d smile came from over the counter to come aTwenty minutes passes and the kindest wave anround and pick up our order. When at the window we met a very kind and hardworking woman that truly made us feel like our happiness mattered as she was overworked from being short staffed like all places. It was at that point if the food wasn't great the service was and supporting small business was what mattered most. After sharing some conversation and laughs we headed home praying we'd get a good hoagie because in Butler that's not always the case. Lol Let me tell you we both ate our entire hoagie which they're big. The cheese was perfect had that pull with every bite, the toppings were perfect not skimpy but not all over my shirt and the meat was perfectly cooked and portioned on a kick a$$ hoagie bun. Our Italian hoagies were really great and the service was awesome. We're excited to go back and surely try some different item's and we promise to call ahead this time. They got the last order they will ever get from me! I ordered pizza last night and gave them another chance since they are close by. I asked for the pick up specials and was told there was a large 1 topping for $10.99 I said i would take that but that I want an additional topping. The girl said if I did that it has to go to the regular price. I said cant you just charge me for the extra topping she said no. I asked "how much would the pizza be?" she said $12.49. Okat thats fine and I ordered onions on the whole pizza & half pepperoni, half mushroom and added a small order of cheesy breadsticks. When I got there the man told me the order was over $23, I asked how much are the breadsticks, he replied $4.50 they charged me $12.49 for a large cheese pizza & $1.50 each for 3 additional toppings! That's $16.99 Why? give the pizza for $10.99 & charge the additional $1.50 for the extra topping. I live in Texas and my brother-in-law is in Butler. He was in a car accident and my wife wanted to order him dinner but it's hard to find someone to deliver and also not knowing the area didn't know what was good or who to trust. She called and spoke to Sharon and what a nice lady! She did everything to make sure it was delivered to him on time and hot and she communicated with us even after the delivery. The food was wonderful! My brother in-law said it was delicious and the crust on the pizza reminded him of a place we ate at when we were kids! We also order him an Italian sub and salad and some drinks. Pricing was good and we told her to add a $10.00 tip and she said no I will add a $4.00 tip. We made her add $10.00 but she deserved more!
