I visited a few times to get drinks and it was okay, finally I decided to get dinner with a friend and was disappointed by Incredibly slow service and discovering that when you scratch the gilded surface you find a dull metal underneath. It Pretends to be upscale then serves you a crystal clear Mai Tai in a plastic cup. They have bizarre do-nothing covid response policies such as you don't get a menu you have to look at your cell phone. We ended up leaving after a long wait without even a drink (unfortunately I was washing my hands when my drink came and I came back to this bizarre excuse for a cocktail and never saw the waitress again to fix it). I attempted to give the manager my feedback and was told that he was on a call. So I gave up on that and waited out in my car for my buddy to buy another cigar. He actually came out to me which was good form however the gesture was empty because the best he could do was promise I would get good service next time when I come back. What, you mean you're going to do a better job running the show than you did tonight? You're going to figure out the difference between a useful covid policy and a virtue signal? I don't have enough time in my life for that. My experience with the other patrons is no better then my experience trying to get dinner. For some reason this cigar bar attracts the most incredibly douchey and stuck up people you can ever meet. It's not like I'm a slob, I dress well and my decorum is superb. But just try and broach conversation with someone here and see what happens. Something about a cheap fake upscale pub attracts cheap fake people, who knew. It took me a long time to become financially successful and now that I'm here I'd much rather eat at Wendy's than feign sophistication with some NEPA...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been meaning to get back here since last year when I was here for the first time. I love the different areas to sit, whether it's the bar, patio, or tables inside. I haven't even seen the upstairs yet! The setup is wonderful- it feels mature, yet fun, serious, but romantic at the same time. It's located off of route 309 in a very unassuming area, you could imagine my surprise when I simply followed the signs last year and wondered where the heck I was going. I'm glad I like to wander! It is 21 and over only, sorry kidsez and parents with kids! That said, I think a place like this was needed with that in mind. In addition, I am not a smoker and I can still enjoy myself here. I must say I am still impressed with the cigar selection and presentation even though I know virtually nothing about them. I tried a few drinks from the cocktail list, had some good conversation with a regular about the lay of the land locally, and of course, had some food! Attentive service here, always a plus. I ordered the flatbread with Proseiutto and goat cheese, it was excellent, but I had 2 issues. First, when I got to the toppings, they came right off with a bite, I was left trying to put them back on. I don't recall this happening last time(it was also a larger, single flatbread, now it is served as 2 smaller ones). Second, I swore it was supposed to have basil on it also, but it was not served with any. I had to hurry up at that point though, so I left basil-less. Next time I will have it! I still can't wait to get a few friends to join me, they will be...

Hereās a polished version of your review that captures your background, experience, and concerns clearly but professionally:
My husband and I have been in the restaurant industry for most of our livesāworking in and running restaurants, including Forbes 4-star properties and high-end dining rooms. Because of that, we have always appreciated the rare spots that deliver not just a meal, but a true experience. This restaurant used to be one of those places. We would come here often for the sophistication of the food and drinks, the impeccable service, and even the elevated cigar offerings. It was a place worth spending extra for, because it consistently delivered quality and refinement. Unfortunately, over the last few visits, it feels as though the restaurant has shifted into more of a pub atmosphere, with little that excites or stands out. The crowd has noticeably thinned, which seems to reflect the changes. Our last experience was especially disappointing. Our server left in the middle of our meal, and for a long time we couldnāt get another drink. When someone eventually came by, I ordered a cocktail, only to wait more than 10 minutes while the bartender did not even begin making it. This was with only a handful of guests at the bar, all of whom already had drinks. By the time I had finished my water, I ended up canceling the order and leaving altogether. Itās sad to see a restaurant that once had so much sophistication and promise lose what...
