I placed a larger order for pickup through the app, but did so very close in time to when we pulled up to the drive through window. I said “I just placed an order for Robert, it was big so it won’t be ready, sorry.” Before I could finish, the employee told me that we really need to give them more time to make the order, which was no problem.
We pulled off to the side, and I went inside the store to wait for the order to be completed. As soon as I got inside, I overheard the manager say loudly to her co-workers, while other customers were in the area:
“This guy is pissing me off” “Who?” “Robert”
I informed the manager that I was inside the building and could hear her, and she said “Sorry, you just have to give us more time to make the order” and I said “I know, I’m very sorry, please take your time.”
She provided me my order, and I returned to the car, where I realized that they forgot to give me the strawberry frosted donut I ordered. I went back into the store to get the donut. When I returned to the store, the manager was again talking about me to her co-workers in front of other customers:
“I hate when people apologize and they dont really mean it, like ‘oh, are you really sorry?’”
I again informed the manager that I was inside the building and could hear her talking about me. She asked me confrontationally “so you’re really sorry, right?” And I informed her that yes, I was truly sorry, I always use the app and make sure to provide the workers enough time, but this time I was unable to and I apologized. I asked her to please not talk about me in front of other customers. She apologized and I went on my way.
Against my better judgment, I went back the next morning before work to give the Dunkin another chance. I got my coffee, and had no problems, but as I was leaving, I overheard a worker ask the manager “was that him?”
3 different times being talked about by employees in my presence on two different occasions. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me. I will not return to...
Read moreI normal go to this Dunkin Donut because it's close to my job. Today before work I went and order an iced coffee and breakfast sandwich. The only problem is towards the end of the order. I mentioned that I would like to add whip cream to the iced coffee I already ordered. They charged me a total of $9.20 which I paid without noticing that they over charged me. When my food came out they gave me the wrong order. The guy tried to argue with me on what I ordered. He tried to say l ordered a hot medium decaf coffee in addition to the iced coffee and breakfast sandwich. Which I never even mentioned. When they tried to give me a refund they couldn't do that because " there was no manager there to provided a refund and no one there knew how to give a refund." They wanted me to give them my number for the manager to call me and refund my money when they come in or leave with no refund. I decided to leave because it was a waste of time for me since I had to go to work. I recommend anyone who goes here to pay after they receive their order. I would...
