Pizza Pie-O-Near — Restaurant in Butler Township

Terrible experience ordering a few things at my work. First, when we asked for an order total, the girl on the phone said they were really busy and she'd have to call back with the total. She called back later and read off the order. When we asked for the total, which was the reason we even waited for her to call back, she says, "ummm we're really busy." She said she'd have to call us back...again. We said don't worry about it, just get the order started.

The delivery driver then get on the phone and said, "You need to answer your phone when I get there. I can't be waiting." We explained the simple process we have for deliveries. You come into the entrance way, pick up the phone, dial 0000, and someone comes down to pick it up. Easy. He basically said no, he's going to call the cell phone. Fine.

An hour later, the driver arrives with the food and we are missing a large pizza. He claims it wasn't on the slip so we must not have ordered it. We explained that we definitely ordered it and the girl on the phone called back and confirmed it. He says he'll go back and get another one and he'll call us when he's back.

45 minutes later he calls and says he's down stairs. A large plain pizza is $10.50. He had $12 set aside for it.

He delivers the pizza and says it's $13. We ask why. He says it's for the pizza and the delivery fee. That's right a second delivery fee to bring us a pizza that they forgot. We ask, "Another delivery fee?" He says, "My car doesn't drive on air."

We told him if the pizza is $13, he can take it back because we're not paying for it. He conceded and charged us $10.50.

We will not be ordering...

"Great customer service. Incredible food for a decant price. Awesome owner." Is what this buisness use to be.

It is with heavy heart that I have to change my review and place to eat. Although the staff has stayed the same, for the most part. The lead cook and owner is no longer there.

The pizza sauce, cheese, bread bowl salad and buffalo chicken have all suffered the effects of a new owners idea to improve on something that did not need improvement. We have tried it three times now and each time it is as equally disappointing.

The buisness shows a lack of support from this community as it was near empty on a normally busy Saturday night.

I suggest to the new owners that if they want to have a successful business here in the valley, they need to return to the old recipes that were inspired and successfully carried out by the previous owner.

The exceptional quality that this restaurant used to have, has sadly been degraded to that of any pizza place...

Very popular with the locals and from location to competition, I understand why.

Good food, needed more vegetables for me, but I'm not judging what I would do, only what was done

Marinara sauce was good, not runny or plain in flavor. Shrimp was full of flavor and a great size for the dish. The fries for the sandwiches were a little plain, but as far as fries go, they were average. Panini is also very good.

Overall everything's good/great for where you are getting food, from traveling I gave it average for overall where I've been, but not exclusive to the area it is. I would say above average for location and food that's around, average if you've had a lot of pizza and Italian food across the country.
