Vesuvio's Pizzeria & Sports Bar - Drums — Restaurant in Butler Township

So we called in an order for an Italian boli we were told 25 mins. So I waited 10 mins and drove down it’s only a 1/2 mile drive. I walk in go to the bar sit down and the bartender brought me over a beer menu. I said I have an order in and I’ll take it as soon as it’s ready but in the mean time I’ll have a number #21 it took me 15 mins to drink it. Very good beer. My glass was empty and saw that it’s been 25 mins since I called the order in when the bartender finally came over I said is my food done? And she said no it will be 15 more mins I said but it’s already been 25 she said sorry then walked away still empty glass on the bar. In the mean time two other bartenders came and gone tried getting there attention no luck. One was on his phone. Finally my bartender came back 10 mins later I said can I sample #. And before I can say the # she said we have to charge you for a 2oz sample. I find this absolutely ridiculous charge me money for a sample of a beer that I want to try there are breweries in the area that only depend on there alcohol as revenue that doesn’t even charge for a sample. This one reason I will not be returning. Second reason is the bartender told me there was a mix up with my order it ended up taking over an hour. Not to mention there was no one in this place they were not busy. And third reason I won’t be back bartender kept my .70 cents change because she felt it neccasary to say I work for tips. I was going to tip $10 but no you keep my 70 cents!! Also an Italian boli comes with 7-8 toppings in it yours has 4 total waste of time and money also your red sauce has no flavor just like your pizza. I’d fire the entire staff and hire all new people these kids can’t cook serve or bartend. It’s sad know ing I can’t go to a bar a 1/2 mile from my house for decent service. Also $7 for a beer is absolutely ridiculous this isn’t New York City not to mention you have a beer for $12 are you nuts. This place needs a big revamp. You get a 1 star and you don’t even...

I really was hoping for more. the Bacon chicken ranch pizza was FLAVORLESS. I don't know how, but yall have zero flavor in a sauced pizza?! Chicken tasted like it's out of the freezer, zero flavor. Very little to no bacon on the entire pie. Crust is bland and dry. the French fry basket had maybe a cumulative of 30 fries in it, hardly worth the price. The jalapeño poppers were the best part today and those are obviously right out of the freezer. The other redeeming part of tonight's order was the NY cheese pizza where I added a bunch of cheese to it, only way it can have flavor. The sauce is legit just canned tomato sauce, no spices/flavoring at all. Quickest disappointment in $50 I've had in years. Delivery person just straight up opened my front door, without knocking/ringing or waiting for me to open the door. Disrespectful and ballsy given the dog on the other side...

vesuvios was always one of my favorite restaurants in the area, but my last visit things have changed. they recently remodeled and it looked better before the makeover. the food has also changed at least portion wise. I always order the calamari vesuvio wich was always one of my favorite appetizers. they used to give a huge portion and now they give a lot less. I also orderd the spegetti with sauce again used to have a great portion now it is small. the worst part about it was they used a huge dish for the pasta and piled up a little bit of food in the middle of the plate. if you are going to give that small of portions, in my oppinon use a small dish. overall the quality of food is still the same as it used to be but I wish they would go back to...
