Wendy's — Restaurant in Butler Township

Walked in to use the restroom and grab some lunch while on a little road trip. The men's room was messy with what I told myself was water on the floor, the paper towel dispenser was hanging open and empty. I ordered (after a few attempts to make myself understood) a double hamburger, no cheese, with only mustard, onion, and pickle. I was told they would have to give me packets of mustard to put on my burger because "they don't make them like that anymore". Mustard is an OG condiment on burgers everywhere, I thought, but whatever! Fries and a medium drink completed the combo, and they specifically me what soft drink I wanted. I requested iced tea, they handed me a cup and sent me over to the digital drink dispenser which had pretty much every imaginable soft drink, except ice tea. I settled for vanilla Coke. After much waiting, and mixing my order up with an Uber order, I finally got my food. I stopped at the condiment station to put the mustard on my sandwich, but there were no packets in the bag. Back to the counter, ask for mustard, and back over to the other counter to dress my burger before getting in the car. When opened the bun I saw they had also forgotten the onions. At this point I was worried I might get more than onions on my burger if I went back to the counter, so I took my pickle burger and hit the road. Very disappointed, would not stop...

So, the food was correct and tasted good, which is obviously the most important part. However, there were other concerns (minor but still). My daughters ordered kids meals, but the store was out of the toys. It happens, and the cashier offered us frosty desserts to make up for the missing toys. We declined, but it was a nice gesture. Another annoying, but not critical thing was the soda machine. At least half of the soda options were out of order. It was a Coke machine and they didn't even have Coke. Who does that? Again, not the worst concern, but I had to drink something that I really did not like. The biggest concern for me was the cleanliness of the place. All of the garbage cans were overflowing. Both bathrooms had toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor. And it's not as if this location did not put their people to work cleaning. The girl that took our order was cleaning the legs of the chairs in the dining room, so I'm not sure why there was so much trash flowing out of all garbage cans (even in the dining room). I am not sure if this location is shutting down, but it appeared that way to me. That's really it. Like I said, the food was as expected minus the drink selection and the staff...

My girlfriend and I have very busy work schedules so our typical week consists of stopping and getting fast food due to our busy and very active schedule. We live in Drums and frequent this Wendys location as it is close and convenient. Last month we spent over $800 at this specific location, we use to have very good service from this location up until the last 90 days.

This morning we went to get breakfast and two coffees, we had asked for EXTRA vanilla in our coffee because we always order coffee from Wendys with EXTRA vanilla. The older lady who normally works the morning shift is very nice and ensures our coffee is PERFECT.

This morning we had a young lady or guy, we are not sure. He or she was younger and had very short her and appeared to be the manager. I had asked him or her for the drinks to be remade with EXTRA vanilla. He or she looked at the drinks and said "This has vanilla" I said yes, but not extra vanilla as we had asked for. She took the drinks and shook them and handed them back to us all messy.

If this is the level of service we will be receiving we will NOT be returning. Please bring back the older lady who was very kind and respectful of...
