The Food!!! Was amazing 👌🏼 I feel like the portions were closer to the portions you SHOULD be eating rather than what you want (an unessecary pile of food) Portions 👌🏼 The Service was amazing, I had no idea until we left that the gal that had been our waitress was the owner or "1 of them" and not only was her attitude outstanding but, the overall patience and kindness she showed my family was truly amazing. (I brought my Wife, 1 y.o Baby, and 4 daughters and they all had a blast and asked begged to go back before we even left the parking lot.

Atmosphere! AMAZING!!! A beautiful place, ran by lovely people. Can't wait to return. And there really isn't a group that I could see not enjoying this place. Family, Business, Pleasure. I believe anybody would enjoy this place.

Price was amazing by the way. I expected higher for the way the place looks but I had a 30 dollar Steak plate and my whole family ate well and didnt even come close to a Bill. I was pretty shocked. 5 kids and 2 adults.

An overwhelmingly disappointing experience. The waitress was inexperienced and overwhelmed. The prime rib was ordered medium and came out well done. I have reheated a supermarket prime rib better than they could ever cook it. The beer steamed shrimp had no beer flavor or any seasoning at all. The kids meals (grilled cheese and chicken strips) were fine. We were never offered refills on our beverages. We watched a group of six clean off their table and serve themselves beer from the fridge while waiting on the terrible waitress.

We went there based on the Rural Missouri recommendation from earlier this year. I simply cannot believe it was the same place they wrote about. Someone has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on that property, but overlooked the necessity of food and service. We drove 45 minutes out of our way, spending time and gas to get a truly terrible meal...

My wife found this while searching on google for someplace to eat near Appleton City. When I saw where the map said it was located I had my doubts this place even existed. Sure enough there was a restaurant out in the middle of nowhere on a gravel road by a lake. We ordered a chefs type salad, a tenderloin sandwich and some kind of big fancy pull pork nachos. We were pleasantly surprised when the nachos came out. They were covered in all kinds of goodies and were delicious. We will be coming back for more of those. The tenderloin was good but I’ve been spoiled by the best so I wasn’t overly thrilled with it. The salad was great although my mom said the croutons were to hard to eat. We finished the trip with home made ice cream in waffle cones and that was the highlight. The decor was great the staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll be going...
