My husband and I recently ate here on a Friday night for a date night as it had been ages. This was our second time coming here and we were excited because our first experience was amazing! Food was good and the waiter was wonderful. This recent experience was the opposite of our first visit and we left annoyed and disappointed. The place was busy but not so busy to justify the experience. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and was seated very quickly. Waitress finally came by with menus and asked for our drink order where we asked for 1 soda, 1 drink from the bar, and 2 waters. We eventually received the water and soda, but it took a while for the alcohol drink to be delivered. We placed our order and got our appetizer super fast- it was delicious! Time ticked by and we didn't see our waitress to even check on the table but noticed in our area 4 other couples were seated, orders placed, food received, and eaten. During this time we also noticed the party of 8 (who was seated before we arrived) placed their order, ate their food, go through a birthday celebration, pay for their food, and leave before we even got our food. It took over an hour to receive our food. This is unacceptable. Especially when compared to the other four couples and what food they ordered as their orders were comparable to ours. It was getting to the point my husband was making comments about paying for the drinks and leaving, which for him to get to that point is pretty rare. We eventually saw the waitress and she told us she would check on the food and let us know. Our "update" was 10-15 minutes later where she brought the food to the table with the comment of "finally". We took her "finally" to mean the food finally came up which I call bull on because my macaroni and cheese was cold, my husband's gravy on his chicken was cold, and my little steak was not piping hot (lukewarm at best) for the food to "finally" come out. Not to mention I ordered medium well and it came out well-done, borderline dry, and oversalted. Maybe it was the waitress, kitchen staff, combination of both, or just an off-night for the restaurant but needless to say we'll wait a while before returning as there are other restaurants for date night closer to home that we don't need to drive over half an hour to for that kind of...
Read moreOver-All, A pretty horrible experience. Night began by waitress, Dani, asking for drinks, the kids ordered sodas and my wife and I ordered glasses of wine. After ordering the wine our server, a bar manager(?), and the manager each came out to tells us they were out of the wine I had ordered, no big deal, ask to see the wine menu again. Couple of minutes later all three again came back again to tell us they were out of the wine my wife had ordered as well. Again no big deal, we ordered a different brand. My wine comes out and it obviously had turned. Had to track down a manager, because our waitress wasn't around, to order a mix drink instead. Dinner comes out, and our waitress leave. Had to track down a manager to find out about or soups and salads, and missing drinks for the kids. Soup and salads come out but the soup is completely cold. Ask my wife how the Alfredo pasta is and she informs me that there is no veggies in the pasta, which was the only item she could only item a vegetarian could order on the menu. At this point we are done having to look for our waitress or manager. We wanted to ask for ketchup for the kids burger and the fries they had ordered but no one came back to check to I searched through several dirty tables in the restaurant until I found a ketchup bottle. At this point both my wife and I have had enough when the waitress offer a free dessert. Dani comes back and allows the kids to order dessert, my wife and I are about to order a dessert as well when she leaves without asking us, I am about to say something but at this point I've had enough. While the children are eating their desserts my wife decides to order another glass of wine, and yet again we have to track down a manger because our servers is missing. Considering this was a $110 meal, and considering two kids meals were about $11 total I was completely disappointed. I don't think we will be going...
Read moreHaving been to similar restaurants, the excitement to try this place was quite high. They were quite busy, but our hostess sat us quickly. Some 20 mins later, our server (Ivy) finally made her way to our table. She was very boisterous and disheveled. Excusable with such a busy crowd. However, her interactions with other customers was not only inappropriate, but very offensive. She stumbled about constantly apologizing to customers and repeatedly forgetting and mixing up things. The drinks were barely cold, when we did get them. The entrees were excellent, but all sides were cold, likely a result of her letting them sit. After over hearing more unprofessional comments, a conversation with the manager was requested. This immediately brought tears to the server's eyes. The manager, Brandy is an absolute rockstar. She is the epitome of professionalism and knelt down and listened with heartfelt concern to the issues. It should be noted, that every other employee was absolutely great. After insisting that she comp the meal, she asked to be given another chance. After much thought, that chance was given the next evening after calling ahead to Brandy. She was already 10 hours into a shift, but had the best table and server queued to make the experience unforgettable. Sebastion was the server this time and was an amazing contrast to the experience the night before. His interaction with everyone was top notch. He was knowledgeable, friendly and on top of all service interaction. Brandy stopped by several times as well as led by example with her hard work and command of the floor, after back to back 12+ hour shifts. Both Brandy and Sebastion spoke on a personal level with professionalism and care that is unmatched. The food was even better than the night before. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this amazing establishment. One bad person can't bring down what is an...
