Genesis Restaurant — Restaurant in Cabo Rojo

Just grabbed food here on the way back to the rental house as it’s literally around the corner from us. I ordered the garlic chicken, my husband got the green pepper beef, and my son got a two piece fried chicken with fries. I had no idea the plates came with a giant heap of fried rice and fries, but it was all delicious. Salty, but delicious. I imagine after a day at the beach (Combate is six minutes away) this would be even better because of the salt. It helped to know a little Spanish and have my husband translate, but you could probably get by if you were super nice about being monolinguistic lol

Also the cook’s baby was brought in by a lady (maybe MIL?) and he sat down in the restaurant seating area to feed her, and she smiled and was sooooooo cute, so that actually added quite a bit of happy to the experience.
