Rock N Go — Restaurant in Cabo Rojo

When I first stumbled upon Rock N Go, it didn't catch my eye, but that first impression couldn't have been more off. I've sampled a good chunk of their menu – from the fish tacos and chicken quesadillas to the burgers, sliders, fries, and onion rings – and every dish has been a home run. This spot consistently delivers top-notch quality.

Update: The standout for me remains their burgers. They're simply incredible – bursting with flavor, making sauces totally unnecessary. I'd say they're the best on the island.

But here's the thing: while I've enjoyed a fair share of their menu, what I've tried is just a fraction of what they offer. Given the quality so far, I'm confident that everything else they whip up is just as good. Since opening in 2013, Rock N Go has transformed from a modest beer joint into a fully-fledged chill spot, boasting an awesome array of eats. The “Monster Quesadillas” and “Tostones Cabrones” are just the tip of the iceberg.

The atmosphere? It's spot-on. With a playlist that's all about Rock, Blues, and more – absolutely no Reggaeton – the vibe is as good as the food.

So, if you're looking for a relaxed place with great food and a cool vibe, Rock N Go in Cabo Rojo is the spot. It's not just about dining; it's an entire experience. And from what I've seen and tasted, you really can't go wrong with anything...

It is not my first time here and all my past experiences have been great, but I am currently on vacation and decide to stop here since I really enjoyed my previous visits. Unfortunately I was not even done sitting at the bar with my sister when a gentleman that works here decides to approach us to tell us that we had to sit side by side so that we would not occupy the 2 seats that were next to us in case somebody else came in and wanted to sit . Mind you there was only 1 other couple in the place and they were kind of close to closing as well. I found it extremely rude of him to first not even let us finish sitting down and second come and talk to us like we are children. Of course we are going to sit side by side, we came in together. His rudeness was uncalled for and totally unprofessional and undesirable. It is sad because the food here is really good and the young lady that was tending to the clients was very personable, professional and pleasant. This place USED to be very good. I haven’t been there for a long time and went yesterday, let me tell you that the quality of the burgers have decreased a lot. First of all, the meat was very dry and very small, second it was insanely expensive. There is no need to charge $5 more for a side on the burgers, when sides should be standard when ordering burgers, and to top it off they give you a very small portion of little tostones. The patty tasted exactly like those that they sell frozen at the supermarket (Los Gorditos for example), the basic ones that people use for pool parties. Its a shame because this place used to sell one of my favorite burgers, but now they sell poorly made dry burgers. And they have the guts to say that they sell the best burgers, I don’t understand how they are not embarrassed, I wasted $30.
