The past two times that I’ve ordered food from Sandy at Dragon Express there have been issues. The previous time I ordered, I got shrimp lo mein, and the shrimp had not been deveined. We spent over $44 yesterday and once I opened up the pork lo mein to eat it, I could smell a Burnt odor. I went ahead and heated some up because I bought it earlier that day and when I ate it, it also tasted burnt. I called today and spoke with Sandy the owner and told her about this issue and she decided to argue with me instead of offering to make it right. I offered to even bring it back to her restaurant so she could see it because she told me the she doesn’t believe me. She was so disrespectful on the phone and insulted my integrity throughout the phone call. The Sweet and sour chicken was way over breaded and had hard Chicken inside the breading. The food used to be good here, but now it’s terrible. Nothing like eating shrimp that they have not been deveined And then you have to argue with the If there’s a problem because they don’t believe you. I think Sandy needs to read her reviews and not just...
Read moreI'll start by saying the staff is very friendly, and the food is cheap. Unfortunately, this place has gone terribly downhill in the past couple of years. I'll give them a bit of a break, considering I did order close to closing, but it's no excuse even then. I placed an order for honey chicken with fried rice. Not thinking, I didn't check the order before leaving, as this has been a restaurant that has never disappointed me. Getting home and opening my box, I was greeted with the wonderful sight of soggy breaded chicken drenched in light corn syrup (I hope, or maybe the rejected nectar of a sick bee). Terribly under-seasoned chicken with a hint of freezer burn, lackluster fried rice, and enough corn syrup to send a healthy man into a diabetic coma (a half cup, yes i measured everything not congealed on the chicken.) Buyer beware; this is no longer a place worth eating at, sadly. Unless you're desperate and everywhere else is closed, it would serve you well to just...
Read moreI have been eating at Dragon Express since my parents took me when I was a kid. I have always enjoyed their food, and I used to love playing mini golf at their course. The sesame chicken is what I usually order. The sesame sauce is sweet, but not too rich. The chicken is always prepared fresh and their tempura breading isn't too hard or too mushy-just right. The sweet and sour chicken that comes with combo #2 is very tasty as well. My husband loves the white rice. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area and wants something quick. And NO I'm not lying to you about my 5 star review, in my opinion, this place is very good. The quality of the food, in MY experience, has been consistently good. Perhaps others don't like the food, but that doesn't mean that I'm lying about my positive review. Everyone has different taste so if you want to know if it is good you'll just have to try it for yourself, don't let anyone tell you...
