Guadalajara Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cabot

Went at 2pm to eat lunch with my Grandma. The restaurant was just about empty except one other table. I ordered chicken and rice (which is literally just chicken rice and cheese sauce) off the lunch menu and she ordered an ala cart chimichanga with cheese sauce ans a sideof gaucamole. Nothing to complicated not really sure why our bill was $20?? But that's not why I'm mad. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious and the food came fast. But everyone seemed bothered by our presence. And soon we were the only table in the entire restaurant and they still seemed bothered. The music progressively began getting louder and louder. Now I can understand wanting a table to leave when it's super busy and if they are super high maintenance I work food service i get it. But we weren't high maintenance and the restaurant wasnt busy. Eventually the music was so loud that we were having to repeat ourselves to each other and progressively raise our voices. We finally decided to leave because it was so loud. Upon leaving my Grandma told our server "Well you succeeded on having us leave. You're music is too loud" but she didn't say it meanly she was laughing and smiling as she said it. The server made a face printed her receipt slid it accross the counter and walked off. I made sure she didn't tip even though she still wanted too. Because he had an attitude the whole time and that was the final straw. Probably won't be back and they probably don't care which is...

Today I came in with a large group our waiter was very rude and impatient we come as a church quite often and will sadly no longer continue coming because of out experiences the last few times we have come. I get we normally have 25ish people but there is no reason to be rude especially because I know that for a fact we are very nice and tip generously. Tonight the waiter decided at 745 to rush us saying they close at 9 and say we needed to order now most of us were ready anyways but still a rush at 745 when you close at 9 maybe fix the problems on your end then. Work on speed and the way you talk to others. I ordered dessert while eating and got done eating and waited 15 20 minutes later and went to check out and finally got dessert. I should have just said no thank you and taken the charge off. They never have enough of many drinks especially Mexican punch they are either out by the time we get there or run out while we are there. Maybe make more punch for Sunday night rush. The person up front was also impatient and rude as we were all paying separate bills. I hope you know you have lost a long time group coming. We will not be back...

NOT authentic Mexican food. The menu items are not what you would find at a real authentic Mexican restaurant. It appears to have all the bells and whistles that will attract you into thinking your at a real authentic Mexican restaurant but far from it. Ok service a few of the employees have the i dont want to be here attitude. Ive dinned in and gave it a second shot and orderd to go and not only was everything tasting the same and bland, but they just dump loads of cheese sause to cover up the bland taste of the food and not to mention the food is very over priced! just visit any other mexican food restaurant and you will see. If your looking for waterd down mexican food this is your place but if you are looking for good,real authentic mexican food this is NOT the spot!! YOU WILL BE...
