Kingpin Sports Grill — Restaurant in Arkansas

Before I go any further in this review, I want to make it clear that this place makes everything from scratch, including the corn mush to make their freshly fried tortilla chips which are some of the best that I've ever had.

Entering, being seated, & inside temp: We went a couple of Sundays ago. The staff was polite and friendly, and the food was amazing, especially since the kitchen serves AllFam Bowling and the Kingpin bar and restaurant. The inside temp was just right, not too hot or cold which was great because we had the booth closest to the outside door when it was literally freezing outside.

Appetizers: We tried the fried mushrooms but declined dipping sauces because we didn't want to cover the flavor of something so delish because they were uh-may-zing all by themselves: hot & fresh. Neither the mushrooms themselves nor the final breaded product had come frozen. I wanted fried pickles, but they were out with much thanks to the crazy weather that we had and the next one coming through. It wasn't a big deal. It just means that we'll be returning.

Entrées: We ordered a large pepperoni pizza which was also hot & fresh. It served 4 adults and a 17mo toddler. We even had a couple of slices left to take home. I was in the mood for chili cheese fries as my main meal. The chili was delicious and I opted for both the queso and shredded cheese on top. When it was brought out with the pizza, it, too, was hot and fresh, and made from scratch in-house, apparently, that is the owner Mr Bill's philosophy when it comes to his restaurant. Anyway, I ate what I wanted of the chili-cheese fries and turned the rest of it over to the others, and it was gone before I blinked.

Dessert: Since the babies were tired, we really needed to get them home before they turned into little grenlins which would have been a very bad we did not stay for dessert but will try the next time.

One cool feature is that there is a door to the bowling alley in case you want to play or utilize the arcade. I didn't play but walked around & looked, & it seems like there is a good selection and variety of arcade games. There is also a bean bag toss game, and, if you score at least 999,999 or maybe it was 99,999pts; sorry that I cannot remember the amount of points, but the point is that it has never been done, & there is a prize for...

We got to the king pin grill around 6:20 and there was only like 6 of us and we only ordered 4 chicken strips a 7 inch pizza and some mountain fries. We were sitting there for a very long time hoping to go bowling afterwards bit we ran out of time because we sat there waiting for our food so long. We ended up getting our food at like 7:30 and they didnt even get our order right so they went back and it took them another 10 mins to get chicken tenders and they didnt even taste right. Finally we got all our food and we didnt get to go bowling for the little amount of food we had it was not worth the wait. They were given food to the people at the front window before us. They have us the fries free and a 10% discount on the rest but I would rather pay a little extra to get my food at a reasonable time. Our other waiter was very kind so we still have him a tip. We probably will not be coming back to the King Pin grill...

10/2023, 5pm. First time visiting and we ordered the Mountain Fries, Ozark BBQ mountain fries and Garlic parmesan boneless wings. The table and surrounding area was clean. There was just 3 other people there so the environment was quiet. The waiter and waitress both were friendly and made us laugh multiple times. The food came out hot and we didn't have to wait to long, maybe 15 min. My son had the mountain fries and he said they were great! I had the Ozark Bbq mountain fries and they were ok. I ate them so they weren't bad, the pulled pork seemed just a little dry. We both shared the garlic parmesan boneless wings and were not impressed. The prices of the food were great.
