Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Cabot

I really hate to complain but I will give honest reviews. Sonic is by far one of the best places in the fast food category to turn to! Absolutely one of my favorites. I love to stop and get a soft pretzel twist, a route 44 cherry dr. pepper. Pickle fries and some yummy tots. My husband gets a double bacon cheeseburger and tots with a ocean water usually. On this day we was working and had a lunch break. I made the trip to a new sonic I’d never been to. I left my husband at the job site. I ordered. The screen was having some difficulty as it was frozen and saying a bunch of stuff like system crashed. Understandable and obviously no one’s intended fault. The lady took my order and asked me to look at the screen to tell her if my order was correct and that was a good time to let her know the screen wasn’t working. She huffed at me! Like seriously bothered! I smiled and listened as she read back my order A number 3 with medium tots and large ocean water A cheeseburger, with mustard, pickles only and add bacon, medium tots and lg Dr Pepper A pickle fry and a soft pretzel twist. I told her that’s correct. She told me the total that seemed to be too cheap right away. I didn’t get a chance to tell her that. She got off that box so fast. 20 minutes rolled by and this kid who was just so nice brought out the order. He said it would be 8$ and some change. I paid and he handed me 2 drinks and a medium sized paper bag. I gave him 5 dollars for a tip and thanked him. He went on. I opened the bag and the only things in it was the soft pretzel, a double bacon cheese burger with only mustard, when it should have had everything on it, and half a cup of tots. I closed the bag and hit the call button. The kid I paid come over the box and attempted to go over the order w me but he never left me a receipt. So he asked what I ordered. I explained it and he come out to my car to retrieve the burger that was incorrect. He said some of my order wasn’t rung up and that it would be cooked but of course I’d have to pay the difference. So we did that and continued to wait. It was another 18 minutes for the order to come out! They put all the stuff that comes on a burger on my single patty burger and put mustard only on my husbands double burger. Still only 1 tot and the pretzel twist. So my lunch break was almost over, my husbands waiting and I’m still at the beginning. So once again they try to fix the order and it came out this time 5 minutes later! It was pretty clear that all the topping were scrapped off my burger and transferred to my husbands burger and they put mustard and pickle on mine! I never got the bacon I paid for or my pickle fries nor did I care to complain again it still wasn’t right. Neither of us ate the food bc of the attitude of the female inside and the way the burgers looked in the end. We just ate later on at dinner. I really hate to even write this review bc I love sonic but it was just absolutely ridiculous and I can’t recommend this location at this time. Time management is needed at this...

To call the quality of food being served here terrible would be a gross misuse of the word. Unless you’re getting just a drink I would avoid this establishment. In the past few months when I’ve stopped on my way home and too tired to make something at home I’ve stopped hoping new crew members who actually care about it customers,but alas no. Tots are either like warm or cold and always like they’ve been sitting in so much grease you could change the oil in your car with it,the veggies on the burger look as if they are whatever is left. We live near the hwy 5 sonic so we stop in frequently. About a month ago we received a burger that must have been a left over from the day before. Buns soaked in liquid and tasted bad. We went a couple weeks ago to get the buy one and get one free. Only could purchase only one. Full price for others even tho the deal did not list how many you can purchase at essentially half price. Now I get a notice of 99 cent corn dogs. Nothing says there is a limit on them but I will not be going there to be told I can only get one. I will not be going back to that place again.
