June 2023 - Si Señor, a local Mexican restaurant renowned for its torta sandwiches and habanero cheese, consistently delights patrons with its flavorful offerings and exceptional service. Having frequented this establishment since its inception, I am continually impressed by the quality and variety of dishes available.
On October 22, 2022, I savored Rick's Fajitas, which were elevated by the exquisite habanero cheese. This bold, spicy addition truly enhanced the dish, making it an unforgettable experience.
During my visit on August 21, 2022, I had the pleasure of indulging in what I consider to be the best breakfast flatbread in the United States. The harmonious blend of flavors and textures was a testament to the restaurant's culinary prowess.
On January 24, 2022, I enjoyed the world-class Torta accompanied by their signature habanero salsa. This combination showcased the restaurant's ability to marry tradition with innovation in the most delicious way.
In an update on December 19, 2021, I reaffirmed my enthusiasm for Si Señor, highly recommending their tamales with cheese and jalapeño. This dish is yet another example of the restaurant's commitment to delivering mouthwatering Mexican cuisine.
Throughout my numerous visits, which have included four in April 2021 alone, my go-to menu items have been the Torta and the Flatbread with black beans, corn, avocado, and a side of ranch. These dishes never disappoint, continually exceeding my expectations.
Si Señor's ever-changing specials keep me intrigued and eager to return. One dish that has caught my attention is the avocado chicken enchiladas, though I must admit, the allure of the Torta often wins out.
In conclusion, Si Señor has proven itself to be a premier dining destination for those seeking an authentic and delectable Mexican culinary experience. With an array of exquisite dishes and exceptional service, this restaurant has earned its...
Read moreFood is overpriced. Paid $33 for a Torta and a Chimichanga with NO DRINKS and their respective sides: fries/beans and rice. Looking back felt more like $22 worth of food value vs what I actually paid.
The Torta was a disappointment and at the price they charge should've included multiple meat options like most other Mexican style restaurants, fries were basic and bland, chips tasted cheap, rice and beans tasted store bought basically bland as hell and rice didnt even taste fresh, the Chimichanga was actually quite delicious though! Especially drizzled in Queso.
They also didn't state anywhere in their in-person menu that they charge extra for brisket as meat choice but saw I got charged more for the brisket on both items.
Overall felt scammed via the price I paid for both the Quantity and Quality.
Sidenote: Saw some staff members twiddling thumbs most of the time. They seem overstaffed and that could be translating to unnecessarily higher priced foods. Great service though!
Atmosphere could use some love too. More traditional Mexican/Spanish style decorations could bring so much life into the restaurant ESPECIALLY that drained of life sign/logo outside the store. Very unappealing and hard to notice if not staring right at it. The tables and chairs could definitely use upgrades. Doesn't even Cost much to bulk order better quality chairs. Doing so would make your customers feel valued instead of making customers sit on cheap budget tables and chairs. Image and presentation is everything. Idc how successful this business currently is, as it could be even more so with just a little more effort. If you're gonna go through the risk of running a business then put your best foot forward 💯 upgrading appearances and Atmosphere...
Read moreThis place is the most ridiculous Mexican restaurant I have been to. They give you salsa in little thimbles for your chips so I had to ask for a big salsa and the waitress said she would get in trouble if she gave it to me so she kept running back and forth to fill our salsas until she just gave up and let me dump salsa myself on my plate. Next comes my taco salad which was huge and delicious looking but came with NO CHILE CON CARNE AND NO CHILI CON QUESO. She said I could have any dressing I wanted so I said chili CON Carne and she literally brought ONE OUNCE of chili con carne and charged me $1 for it. WOW. It would take 10 of those to have enough. Plus the salad had cabbage and carrots in it which I can't stand. There was no flavor to any of the food....well of course because there is no carne or queso. My wife had fajitas which also had no taste and the setup was equally stingy with barely anything on the setup plate and the rice and beans were scarce also but she didn't like the rice anyways. The server was fantastic and tried her best to accommodate us but the restaurant itself has rules of stinginess she could not overcome. I left not disappointed but MAD because I don't appreciate the way my meal turned out. Here is a picture of the thimbles I was given....the oval one is for salsa and the round one was what I was given for a huge taco salad. Utterly ridiculous!
UPDATE. My wife had said her fajitas steak meat was bad. I thought she was complaining about the taste and didn't think much of it but she was throwing up all night because the meat was...
