Main Street Pizza — Restaurant in Caledonia Charter Township

Have ordered pizza from Main Street twice in the past two months, and it has been more than disappointing. This used to be the best pizza around, for years. Even better than Roma's Backdoor Owosso (years ago before they became whatever they are now. Or aren't because they are still closed.)

Anyway I don't know what has happened here but it's just not the same. The first bad order was a Special, and the toppings were plentiful as always and fresh. However the crust was doughy, and also too dark on the edges. But doughy pizza ruins it for me. I'll eat burnt pizza and like it. But not undercooked.. And the second time was just a simple pepperoni on a slow Sunday afternoon. The cheese had slid off the pie, and this is without being tossed around in any way. I was the only one to handle it. And it had more sauce than any one person could need on a pizza. I don't complain often and don't want to now. But I look to Google reviews myself oftentimes to decide where to eat. Just keep this in mind. And also I won't stop coming to Main Street... just want to help anyone else who may be indecisive sometimes...

Pizza is good. Usually they will follow my instructions and bake my pizza longer so its brown and well done, not always though. Often the delivery drivers screw up and dont bring pop or they bring regular instead of diet. They go back and get the right thing but its a pain for us , their customers. They never offer a discount or a freebie when they screw up either.

On the phone the order takers almost sound like they want you to cancel your order..."you know its gonna be over a hour before we can deliver..." I keep waiting for them to add, "Do you want to call someone else???" please....Real long delivery times even when the call is placed before 5pm!

Their order takers try to rush us on the phone too, they give the impression that they dont want any changes, just state your items, your sauce and pop errrrrnt thats all folks...dont they understand that with upgrades they get more money????? duh! Delivery looks at me like I'm crazy if I dont tip them after waiting over an hour for a...

Lived in Corunna for 4 years now Main street has been my go to pizza place. In the past 6 to 8 months I would try to call on Friday night on my way home from work I would get a busy signal for 35 minutes. I work in Flint. I would go to Main Street to find the woman answering phones had the phone lying on the counter. I placed my order. Then I said something to her she gave a flimsy excuse. I went over sat down and waited 2 minutes she hung the receiver up and never talked to anyone. Few minuets after that it rang through with a customer. Now I call and if I get a busy signal I just got to taco bell. Service is going down hill with current staff. Oh also crust is not being cooked through to center it is sometimes doughy now too. That was the main reason I made it my go to place crust was cooked thoroughly to center. Pleas read this and fix...
