Wendy's — Restaurant in Caledonia Charter Township

Caledonia Wendy's: 01/16/2018 @ 6 pm. I have never had a worse experience... I went through the drive through with my 14 year old daughter. The order was totally wrong... when I tried to correct the order, the employee argued with me about what I ordered. He eventually said " I'm not letting this go out the window because it costs a lot more." I gave him my card and said its fine, Ill pay the difference, I just want what I ordered. He then realized that they had made a mistake handed me a burger, which we had paid for, almost angrily.. no apology.. He became more disrespectful.. I was shocked about how we were treated and immediately called the store.. the manager(I think) answered... I told her what happened to which she replied.. "what do you want me to do? yell at him.." I was dismayed and asked for the general manager's contact information, to which she replied "No. I'm not giving that to you." I hung up and called back to clarify.. I asked, "you are not going to give me an email or and address to contact the GM?" to which she replied no and stated she "talked to the worker I dealt with. I asked for her first name so I could pass that along in my communication.. She replied "I'm not giving you my name". So.... I went to the corporate website and shared my experience... I received no call and no response... We have been patrons of that Wendy's for more than 10 years.. We have been very happy with the service and especially the employees at that location.. Neither myself or my family will ever spend another dime...

Eating here could be dangerous to your health. There are multiple reviews of this Wendy's serving cold and/or undercooked food. My story is the same. After a long weekend of working, I decided to treat myself to a chicken sandwich and a huge order of fries. The fries were luke warm, rubbery, and tasted like freezer burn, and the sandwich wasn't cooked through. At least the fountain pop turned out fine. I brought it back for a refund. Just stay away from any fast food in Caledonia. Branns is the same price and you get table service, and they've never let me down. Blue Dragon is another winner for good food in Caledonia. Or there's Mario's pizza. Shoot, go to Domino's if you want! Just say no to fast food in Caledonia. What a waste of time and money.

For some reason we decided to go to this location again today. I checked the food in the bag and it was cold so I handed it back. The manager came to the window and told me they couldn't be cold because they came right off the griddle. I told him to put his hand in the bag and check it for himself. He proceeded to pull out one of the sandwiches, open it, touch the actual burger meat and tell me "it's warm to the touch, do you want to touch it?" Um, no. He offered to remake the burger in his hand and refused to give a refund. Rude, unprofessional, and stupid children are apparently in charge now. Way to go Caledonia...

2 people in the restaurants and I was 1 of them, order was politely taken and filled. Frosty was not a frosty was more towards a malt. But what I don't appreciate is this is a place we eat at often and why the frosty isn't a real frosty? Also, I've been watching the food accumulate behind the cushions of the long bench seat. This wasn't being address at all even though we 2 were the only people eating there. I asked to see the manager, she graciously followed me so I pointed it out to her. Crumbs, old French fries, paper, salt, a mess- in between the seams of where the cushions meet. She looked at me politely but like no acknowledgement at all. Zero. So I said to her that it wasn't acceptable and the health department probably wouldn't be to happy. Again nothing really. So I said to her that with us leaving and no one was in the restaurant maybe it would be a good time to clean up instead of chatting over by the drive threw window. This I think should be cleaned as often as the tables and floors. All the other fast food places in Caledonia were packed with customers when we left Wendy's. Might be an issue for several other...
