This is the 2nd best A & W Restaurant that we have ever been to.

The best A & W Restaurant that we have ever been to is in Lancaster, Wisconsin which is now 4th Generation owned by the same Family and they are still a traditional A & W Restaurant with a Old fashioned Car hop, a juke box, and some of the waitresses there still wear the Old fashioned A & W Restaurant uniforms and all the waitresses still wear the Old fashioned quarter holsters on their hips yet. That is what makes that location the best one. It is still built as a Old fashioned Mom & Pop Shop A & W Restaurant. You should all check it out in Lancaster, Wisconsin if you Live A & W Restaurants.

Now as for this A & W Restaurant location in Franksville, Wisconsin...

This A & W Restaurant location is the 2nd best location that we have been to. The down side is that they don't have a Car hop or a jukebox and the waitresses or waiters don't wear the Old fashioned uniforms or the quarter holsters. The outside of this location looks kind of Old fashioned but the inside is all modern. It is better then the A & W Restaurant location on Highway 100 in Hales Corners. The A & W Restaurant location on Highway 100 does not look like a A & W Restaurant at all. The A & W Restaurant location on Highway 100 is one of those New ugly big box square locations that most fast food restaurants are going with when it comes to the building designs.

The food at the A & W Restaurant location in Franksville has Good food, Good waitresses, Good waiters, and Good employees. I recommend either going to this location or the one...

I went to this location on April 13,2022 with my husband and daughter thru the Dt . I had the best experience ever . When I got to the window I had to ask who took my order because the young men that took my order was very polite , courteous, was not rushing me and was suggestive selling as well as finding out info about the food that I did not know .He was patient and the experience I had was so nice.. I just had to ask awho took my order the window person in Dt .told me one sec ..I’ll get him and he came to the window and I asked him you took my order ? And he replied yes .. I asked him what’s your name . He replied “ Justin “ I told him .. your awesome . And I will make sure I write a review about you because this was one of the best experiences I ever had in any place .He was very polite and smily and he replied well thank you!! . Nice kid . The food was hot , fresh .. it was given to me in a timely manner .No condiments were missing including my napkins 😂😂. All condiments were there the extra napkins I asked for ( and the window guy did not get mad for me asking 🙌🏼and the Outside of restaurant was nice and clean … for some reason this is something I really admire from this location . We live in Milwaukee but if we have to go to Racine or Sturtevant auto salvage we have to stop here . Nice job who ever is running that store and doing the hiring .Nice crew ....

Well I've never been here before so I was excited 😊 my husband told me about coming here as a kid and made it sound good. But my excitement had worn off a little after I stepped up to the counter to create my order and the boy standing there walked away as if I was not there. A little more when I realized my float was a lot more skimpy than other patrons. And when I got to the car and found that my order was messed up. On a burger that doesn't come with onions they added them as well as the pickles I'd asked them to remove. When things like this happen in places with Caucasian staff and with actually seeing Caucasian patrons getting treated differently I can't help but wonder if my treatment is due to me being black. Mostly I'm sad that my mood was ruined by this experience. I would hope that since I'm a paying customer that I would be treated the same as other paying customer's. But I guess that's too much to ask for. Not to worry I will not visit another simply because I don't want to be reminded of...
