I have the pleasure of working as a waitress at Old Tyme Diner, and I can honestly say it is one of the best jobs I've ever had. The owners and management are incredibly kind and supportive, and they truly care about their employees. They always make sure I have everything I need to do my job well, and they are always available to answer any questions or concerns I have.
The atmosphere at the diner is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. I've had the pleasure of trying just about everything on the menu, and I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.
But what really sets Old Tyme Diner apart is the sense of community that you feel when you walk through the door. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're always greeted with a smile and treated like family. I've made so many wonderful connections with customers and coworkers alike, and I'm so grateful for the memories I've made there.
Overall, I would highly recommend Old Tyme Diner to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming environment. It's truly a gem...
Read moreThis place seemed like a cool place. Go in and they have Joy playing on the radio. Seemed like a good place. Wrong. I had ants in my soda to start with. The waitress was nice but had to flag her down if you want something. The boss is sitting in the corner of the dining area and just looks like a total slob. Had an apron on. Dont know if he helps cooking but I sure hope not. Looked like he hasn't showered in a week and would not want him neer my food. Then I get charged 3 times for the endless wings. I did share 2 of the wings. One with the wife and one with my daughter. But still if anything should have only got charged for 2. The one I shared from and the other should have been the endless. And when I asked about my bill and getting charged so much the boss was very rude about it and just turned his back and walked away. Do not recommend this place. Food and service is definitely not worth the money and you may have to deal with rude people if you go here....
Read moreHere are a couple of our newest menu items. Philly Steak sandwich with grilled peppers and onions and provolone cheese. Or our new Pork tenderloin sandwich. And in case you missed it, the hail was nice sized, almost as big as a quarter. This was posted on their Facebook page on May 20th, 2024. I drove 70 miles round trip from Farmington to have the pork tenderloin sandwich. It's not even on the menu. The waitress said they didn't have that. Why? I had the chicken fried steak, with mashed potatoes and corn ( no bread or roll offered ), for $13. My wife had a very thin chicken sandwich and paid extra ( $2.75) for fries. Most places, fries are included. Both were good but not worth the $26 price. Also, when paying with a credit card, there's an extra fee. You are also asked how much you want to tip when paying. Sorry, we won't be back. Carla's in Bismarck. It's just as good, closer and cheaper. Thanks to Bidenomics/Bidenflation, every penny...
