My 35 year old cousin and I decided we were going to have dinner together well I stand outside by my truck smoke me a cigarette he walks in and I guess just because he walks with a crutch Miss Kitty or whatever the heck they her told him he didn't need to be in there by himself like he was a 5 year old wanted to know where I was literally treated him as if he were a child okay when I get inside the restaurant I notice my cousin is sitting at a much larger table than what we need I suggest that we move to a smaller table well just so happens the table we pick just wasn't fit for the owner she asked us if we want to move I said no we're good we're fine here she said you might be fine here but my other customers would not be able to get to the bathrooms said that my cousin was blocking the way for her other customers to get to the bathroom. She went so far as to moving is things before we even agreed to move tables. we finally decided to grant her wish and move for her but we moved right on out her door. there is absolutely nothing wrong with my cousin other than he walks with a crutch but to be treated like that disrespected like that is uncalled for. how did not recommend this restaurant to anyone if you're looking for good services...
Read moreVery clean and well kept restaurant. I've eaten there several times and never was disappointed. Everything was fresh and tasty. not greasy as some say. Ms. Kitty is the BEST. She's attentive and goes out of her way to be sure her customers are well cared for. I have been reading the posts of other "food critics" here and they are so unfair. Most of them can't spell. I mean, what the heck is chaw main (not a typo, typed twice the same way)? And since when is Chinese spelled Chinesse? You can tell they have never eaten Chinese food before and are ignorant. I know chow mein is spelled correctly on the menu, so someone can't read. And the word Chinese has never changed its spelling. Do they call themselves Amurakinss? I have eaten in Chinese restaurants from NY to Florida and have had bad Chinese food. There's another place in Calhoun these people should go to. Not only is the manager mean, but the prices are out of line and the food truly nasty. They're on the other side of town near the electric company. Great Wall is not one of those bad places. Some folks need a course in developing their taste buds and manners. A+ for Great Wall. A restaurant doesn't stay open 40 years if they serve bad food and have bad...
Read moreThe food here is extremely disappointing. Wife ordered dumplings, but apparently what they call "dumplings" is actually cream cheese wantons. The hot and sour soup I ordered was bland with almost nothing in it but a few tiny chunks of tofu. It looked like they just took some egg drop soup and added something sour to it and put in a tiny bit of tofu. I wanted to try the twice-cooked pork, but they were completely out of pork, so I ordered the kung pao chicken, which had about a chicken nugget's worth of chicken in it and was mostly bok choy. It was supposed to be spicy, I even specified that they should make it spicier, but it was about as mild as it could possibly be. It also didn't resemble any kung pao chicken I've ever had. The wife got teriyaki beef, which had very little beef in it and didn't seem to have any actual teriyaki sauce in it all and was also very bland. The fried rice was dry and over-cooked and looked like they just threw some egg into pre-cook steamed rice. The food wasn't the worst I've ever had, but in general was just sad and disappointing, and you could tell it was made by cutting corners with very little effort put into it or the...
