Pros- super friendly staff and fairly quick service( abt 7/8 mins to get food), food was hot Cons- no menu in drive-thru(I asked to see a menu and they said they didn't have any printed), food was pricey for what I ordered(2 pancakes with 1 small sausage patty and sweet tea was over $10), pancakes were rubbery and not very good
They may have better breakfast options but if you want pancakes, try somewhere else.
Response to owner- I didn't ask for a take home menu, I asked if you had a printed menu I could see. This would have eliminated the issue with the cost. The only menu online is outdated obviously. I asked the lady who brought out the food if a receipt was in the bag or given and was told no. She told me the cost and did offer to get the owner and I declined. Simply a no thank you and have a nice day. There wasn't any rudeness on any part and I did notate that in the review. As far as the food, I took a picture of what I received and gave my opinion. That's what a review is. Perhaps update your menu online and place one in...
Read moreI've had quite a few meals here involving many of the foods they offer. I will take their biscuits over any other restaurants in town, and I mean the biscuits alone. Add sausage, county ham, chicken fried steak, and more, and you will never want to buy a biscuit breakfast anywhere else. The egg and country ham biscuits are to die for. Their burgers, shakes, and fries are darn good too. They have more delicious food I could describe, but my finger is tired.
New! Make sure before you order a milkshake, that they have some large bore straws on hand. The little ones are very good for tea, but "suck" for milkshakes with fruit.
Feb 27 '03 Sorry to say got in my ham & egg bkfst sandwich I got boiled ham vs country ham. Not good. My fiancé had steak and biscuit and the biscuit dough had been way overworked and totally fell apart. This is quite unusual for here.
12/01/23 Oh man, get the blackened grouper if available. Excellent roumalade sauce, not too spicy. But, for me, I removed the lettuce and tomato as I did not feel...
Read moreWe were visiting blue ridge ga for our honeymoon and found the rock garden (down the street) to visit. Of course we needed some grub while we were out that way and the Yellow Jacket Drive in definitely hit the spot! We found it online beforehand and loved what we saw. It doesn’t disappoint in person either. A tad tucked away (missed it the first pass), but nice and cozy. It was cold so they invited us into their small dining room, with a few booths and a couple “community tables”. There was also a pick up window and drive through. With a small staff and lovely waitress, they filled the orders in good time. I got a burger and fries, and my husband got a hot dog with chili and a foot long (hot dog) with slaw. He then ordered a second foot long because he thought it was so delicious. The prices were also very very reasonable. Absolutely no complaints!
While checking out the cashier was so friendly and, after our experience, we couldn’t help but write a review.
