Knotty Pine Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Caliente

Foods great. Lots of variety with a flexible menu. ( Easily make substitutions with a variety of side dishes to choose from). Family friendly restaurant. The atmosphere and Energy is fun, friendly, and comfortable. If you want to just relax, have a little fun, and aren't really hungry, the Knotty Pine bar and CASINO are always fun of course!! Has a full service bar with dining also available( with seating that's kept separate from the restaurant dining area), pool tables, juke box, and on select nights....karaoke! But whether I visit the restaurant or I visit the bar, it doesn't matter when I go there, day or night, my favorite and most enjoyable part of each visit is hands down.... THE STAFF!!! In case you have not been to Caliente NV, make sure you are there before 8 PM because that is when they roll up the sidewalk (yes, there is only 1). We were 15 min past 8 trying to find a meal after a long day getting there and every other place said no thanks (group of 12). You would think they would want the revenue these days but.... so I remembered seeing the KP and we went back and stopped in. We were welcomed with open arms and had a blast. Staff tried hard, service was slow but they had more business that weekend than they had all year due to the race that we were there for. Food was good, not great and they were out of some things due to the rush. We went back for dinner...

I really loved this place! So much that I'll make a point to come this way again just to come here. Our waitress was amazing, and the food was really good and reasonable in price. It was like a home cooked dinner. One of the reason why I'm giving full five stars is because the mountain dew was amazing. I noticed that many places that their fountain soda tastes bad because they're trying to squeeze too many drinks out of the same syrup box and diluting the flavor but this place, no, premium mountain dew. Also the view outside, just everything it was a relaxing place to go and have a meal and I would definitely go back and recommend...
