EDIT: The female employee actually had the nerve to tell me "my tastes must have changed" because I explained their salsa recipe had changed?! After 6 years of patronage your employee claims MY tastes have changed. NO hun, you give watered down salsa to light skined customers now. That's NOT your customers fault. That's YOUR fault. Stop your bs or your only customers will be uninformed tourists. Mark my words, mouthy employees, your employer's business will go the same way as any other business on the hill that can't meet local demand, Out Of Business. Apply to Starbucks, brat. You'd be better off there.
We used to come here regularly. We're done EVER coming here again. After 6, yes 6 years, of being customers we've noticed a severe decline in not only customer service but food quality as well. I've received chilè rellenos with American cheese barely melted inside, sodas with no carbonation, and today a staff woman with no respect for customers, salsa they specifically give my "Anglo looking husband" that tastes like sweet tomato juice when asked specifically for their HOTEST salsa (seriously, you clearly either changed your recipe or purposefully gave him "salsa he could hanlde" despite requests otherwise) as well as under cooked or dried out rice and beans, hard to tell. Not worth $30++ for a family of 4. Not worth the drama. Employees need to learn their place. Chefs need more training. We pay YOU, YOU SERVE us. That's the business. Tell your employees my hard earned money doesn't go to disrespecting me or...
Read moreAverage at best. I usually measure Mexican restaurants by Al Pastor, Guacamole and some kind of Chicken. It will be a while before I try them again. The salsa had descent flavor and wasn't to hot (good for those that don't like hot foods), Shredded Beef was good (I tried her tacos)... just not exceptional. We asked for both mild and hot salsa and received all mild. My friend had shredded beef tacos. I ordered Al Pastor with guacamole. Note that if I go back, I will try some kind of Chicken dish... perhaps on the next comet pass. Also, the menu is heavily edited with a sharpie and tape (understandingly so during these times) which makes it difficult to read since there was no lighting for the menu at the drive through. I think the strangest customer service moment ever was the dude taking orders asking my friend her name while we were in the drive through. She was...
Read moreSince this is the closest restaurant to our house we keep giving them chance after chance but after the last time we're done for good. Over the past few years we've only havd a couple of good experiences with service and delicious food. Recently we've had no luck at all. My wife stopped by to pick up the family carne asada dinner but it was a big disappointment. First, they forgot to give us the rice and beans and made the wrong meat so my wife had to wait around for them to make it all over again. They were apologetic and got us the right order so we shrugged it off but when we got home the meal was inedible. The rice and beans both had no taste what so ever and the meat must have been soaked in soy sauce because that's all we could taste. It was bad... Beyond bad. That only edible part was the chips and salsa. Save your money and frustration and eat...
