Cadillac Cafe — Restaurant in California

I visited this restaurant yesterday ( Sunday). It was my first time here but certainly will not be the last time. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area. My dog joined us for breakfast in the patio instead of having to wait in the car. We had excellent service from our food server, Sal. Sal was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and checked on us frequently. This is a busy restaurant with a casual atmosphere. The menu offers lots to choose from. Not expensive ( for example the breakfast burrito is around $9, huevos rancheros $13). Despite the restaurant being full, our food was delivered quickly. The food is delicious and portions are large. Me and my wife are from Los Angeles California, we took a trip to Watsonville and San Jose, Watsonville being our first stop. It wasn't a good experience due to Hotel issues, but then we found the Cadillac Cafe and that shined a little light on our trip. Me and my wife loved it here, the staff are really warm and welcoming, friendly, and it's a small quaint place. The food was awesome, potatoes perfectly cooked, coffee was bold but smooth, not bitter. Everything was delicious, the experience here really picked us up from our prior experience with the Hotel. We were on a trip, but lived in Watsonville at one time. We frequently went to Cadillac Cafe. It appears to be under new ownership. While traveling the day before, we had breakfast at a small Cafe in another town. My son ordered a hamburger patty and all of our food tasted like it was fried in hamburger grease... even the pancakes. Having breakfast at Cadillac Cafe was awesome! Service was awesome, food was awesome! So friendly! Just as we remembered! Looks like it might be undet new ownership and boy do they show pride in their business. We sat outside and it was clean, very very clean... Love this place! We will be back the next time...
