Corralitos Pizza — Restaurant in Watsonville

I was a little apprehensive because of the location they took over was a Papa John's pizza that was god awful. But after reviewing the menu and seen that it was fresh local ingredients my mind was put to rest for a moment I decided to order three small pizzas the first one on the menu with the apples and the one with the chicken ranch with the option for jalapeños and bacon and also the Asian one. I decided to go pick up the pizza however they do deliver and was in the process of getting I delivery when I opted to just pick it up. When I arrived I I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the wonderful aroma i was met with at the door. What little skepticism I had left was now nearly all gone. There was no way smells like thesecould accompanied with bad food. The girl helping me at the counter was very sweet and helpful and did her job like she had been doing it for years. I didn't catch her name but she has dark hair and a thick Spanish accent. I paid for the pizzas and also a couple cookies that they had for sale that were humongous.. I couldnt help but peek at one before I got home about a half mile away! It was the Asian one immediately when I open the box to smell that came off the pizza was intoxicating and I also look like finally crafted artisanal pizza. When I got home I grabbed a slice of each as did the other two individuals who enjoyed the pizza with me that evening. I tried the chicken ranch that I got with jalapeños and bacon the dude special as it's called. I like to think of myself as a foodie that not only knows what good food is , but can cook great food myself as well, so I have a very hard time paying for lousy food. With that being said what happened next for all three people who ate coralittos pizza with me that night was magical! Our minds blown by this pizza!! One person didn't even want pizza that night! One person didn't even like pizza much in general. We all were in agreement that all of us had hands-down the best pizza we've ever had. All three pizzas were better than any, any of us had ever had! Amazing pizza!! Cookies...

Ordered from them for the first time today. It was a rainy, busy day for them, which is understandable. They said pizza would be delivered in about 1 hour.

It was delivered two hours after placing the order. The pizza was cold. They said one of their drivers had car issues and they had to get someone else. Cool. That’s not a problem. I gave you my phone number to contact me, so I’m not sure why I wasn’t informed?

I had ordered the pizza for myself and some co-workers. We work at The Corralitos Market, where Corralitos Pizza regularly gets their sausage. I figured that when I called to talk to the manager about the cold, hour late pizza, they’d help me out or at least offer a refund. A large cheese, tomato and basil pizza for $33. Best he could do was give me a coupon. 😒 I said no, please refund me the coupon amount at least. I am not happy with the order. I didn’t pay $33 for a cold pizza that we had to microwave.

I’m still a bit upset that that’s all he was willing to do for me. I’ve never called into a place to request a refund before, but I can see why people get so infuriated. You can be sure that I will have a word with the owner next time they come in to pick up...

Quality of the food was good. My custom ordered pizza came completely stock. Also, I was told 25-30 minutes for my order, I showed up at 35 mins and had to wait for 10 more. My order was placed 20 mins after opening. Otherwise I'd give it 4 stars.

Edit 05.03.2021: had this place rated higher but tonight's experience was just too much. It must be going downhill. First, the lady on the phone was pretty rude and also had me repeat my order (1 pizza) like 3 times. When my wife went to pick it up she said the lady was pretty rude (I had not told her about my phone interaction) and also forgot to give her the extra items she paid for upon arrival, then had an attitude when she came back in to ask for them.
