Casa Del Rio — Restaurant in California

My husband and I patronize this restaurant frequently. The food is usually really good and it's close to our home. Today I ordered a chili Verde burrito combo, and they made a mistake on the order and gave me some type of a shredded beef burrito which was not a combo. I called to notify them and asked how we could fix it, the woman that answered the phone told me she made a mistake and apologized, she then proceeded to tell me she could make me the combo for us to come back and get, but it would be extra because the combo is $15 and I only paid $12 for what I ordered. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous customer service. You mean I have to come back because you admittedly mixed up my order which I completely understand because you're human. But then you want to charge me the extra $3? I don't think so. Sorry this place has lost a customer. My husband's food was delicious, but just really bad customer service. I opted to just keep what I ordered and gave it to my husband for lunch. Sorry you lost a customer over $3. I won't be back, my husband is more forgiving. Also he tips at least 20%, every single time even though we are usually take out customers. Just ridiculous customer service 😡 and to think this was my restaurant of choice...

This is a small Mexican restaurant in Saticoy. The service is friendly and the food is good and a great value (underpriced actually for what you get). The dining room area is small and quaint and worn. This is not somewhere I would travel out of my way to go or take my wife on date night, but when in the area it is a good choice. When you sit down they immediately bring chips and salsa. Water tastes good and everything is clean. To get to the parking lot you have to drive behind the building. They have a takeout counter. Great little local spot. Excellent food, I had two shredded beef tacos and my boyfriend had a shredded beef tacos and a cheese enchilada. Beans and rice were delicious.
