Descending from the mountains, in dire need of a caffeine fix, we stumbled upon Clingan’s Junction Cabins and Coffee, a picturesque oasis that was exactly what we needed. This charming spot not only revived us with its coffee but also captivated us with its serene beauty.
My son opted for an iced macchiato, and judging by the speed at which he consumed it, it was nothing short of perfection. As a high schooler who’s not big on reviews, his rapid enjoyment spoke volumes, easily a 5-star experience in his book. My choice was a latte, served piping hot, which is not an exaggeration. It was indeed so hot that it required some time to cool down, but this only added to the anticipation. The latte was exquisite, rich in flavor, and absolutely worth the wait. It’s not often that you find a coffee that commands your patience and rewards you so richly.
Clingan’s Junction isn’t just a coffee stop; it’s a beautiful, tranquil spot that provides a much-needed respite from the road. The setting is as delightful as the beverages, making it a great and beautiful little stop for travelers and coffee enthusiasts alike.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Clingan’s Junction Cabins and Coffee is a must-visit for anyone looking for high-quality coffee in a scenic location. It’s a reminder of the simple pleasures in life—a good cup of coffee, beautiful surroundings, and moments of peace on the road. Can’t wait for our next mountain adventure and another stop...
Read moreAmazing baker. I'd been looking for a place to stop and load up on food on my trips to Kings Canyon Park. Likely I will stop here every time from now on. Check my photo- you want to smile? grab a Spicy Meat Lovers Cheese Bagel- then after a hike around the Grant Tree trails stop at the picnic ground just above the grove. Find a spot, listen to the creek and enjoy. All the baked goods are exceptional ( i worked in a coffee/pastry for shop for years so i have some sense things). I've had super fluffy bagels, the best scones I've ever eaten, and keto rings ( i didn't even know what that was but it looked good- yummy savory is what it is... "flourless bagels" I was told). A great little touch that I loved was when I pulled out my cream cheese and wonder how I'd spread it... they had included a little wood knife. Good tea too. The folks are very nice and do their best to deal with the strange flow of tourist traffic and online orders.
**if you are visiting the parks when bears are active- don't fill your car with brownies and sweets- just get enough you will eat that trip or use the metal food boxes in the park. Don't be fearful - do be smart. I only mention it since most tourists don't think about such things until they see the signs...
Read moreA friend recommended this place from the Sequoia national Forest at hume lake. We stopped at it on our way down back home. Super cool shop! I had snickers Frappuccino‘s, and it was 300% times better than a Starbucks drink. Starbucks gives you more ice than the actual drink, this place gives you not only more drink, but lots of flavors as well. they had a bunch of other awesome choices varying in drink sizes of 12, 16, and 20 ounces. We also got the everything bagel with avocado. Super delicious! They make their own bagels, And pastries from scratch. Their customer service was phenomenal! The tables and chairs outside were A welcoming backdrop of the stonefaced building. Inside they had running AC which is nice to get out of the heat. I definitely recommend stopping by if you ever...
