The bar was pretty busy when I placed my take-out order. This place was pretty busy for a Friday night. Regardless of how busy it was the bartenders were super attentive. The place itself was pretty inviting and had a modern but chill vibe. The display case of meats being aged were a sight to see. They had so many items I wanted to try.
We ordered:
Crab cakes - It had a nice crunch on the outside but flaky inside. I liked that it was simple but flavorful.
Porterhouse - I'm normally a ribeye kind of person but we switched it up and tried the Porterhouse. I was really disappointed. It was cooked perfectly, medium like I ordered but it was so tough and dry. I expected a little more juiciness and flavor since it is dry aged. I should have just stuck with a ribeye.
1/2 lb maine lobster taill - perfectly cooked and was so tender. Dip it in the buttery goodness and your in heaven.
Mac and cheese - Cheesy yummy goodness, perfectly cooked.
Garlic Mashed potatoes - Who would've thought something so simple can be so satisfying. It was creamy and flavorful.
Brussel sprouts - I am not a brussel sprouts kind of person and wanted to get the broccolini or the asparagus but the bartender was raving on and on about how good it was. I gave in, it wasn't bad. It was pretty good. It was sliced in quarters and was nice and crunchy.
Bread basket - I wasn't sure if they provided bread so I ordered it just in case. All the breads were good except for the flat bread sesame thing. The ciabatta bread and twisty cheesy breads were our favorite.
The bartender that took my order was nice. I think his manager was more attentive and was making sure he was on it. When it came time to pick up my order, he ended up helping me. He made sure my order was complete. After dinner we came back down hoping to try the dessert as well but the guy who first helped me was running around like a chicken with his head cutoff. He explained to me who he had to help and what he needed to do before getting to me. I said ok amd patiently waited for almost 10 minutes and just left. It was not worth it to wait much longer for dessert. To be honest I was prepared to order one of everything, but if the service was like this who would've known how my dessert would've come out. Too bad the manager or someone wasn't there to help him. You would've thought for a Friday night they would at least have 2 people...
Read moreAPPEARANCE: When first entrance you are greeted by a nice laid out restaurant, shiny and new. Appears to be smaller than most steakhouses however is nice and comfortable. Everything looks well kept (although brand new restaurant) clean tables, floors and restrooms. All the staff were well dressed neat and clean.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: We made a reservation for 8:15pm and were a little early. They moved us up to a 7:45pm slot, which was nice and unexpected. Host was very accommodating. Once seated we were greeting by our server who was great, enjoyed a little conversation with him and we were completely enjoying ourselves.
SERVICE: This is where everything goes off the rails. We ordered our appetizer and that came out after 15 minutes and they delivered bread to our table. We ordered two salads, our entree's and one side. An hour after our appetizer, we still had not received our food. I got up to politely ask about the food and our server was apologetic, but again after another 20 minutes, still no food. We would have been fine with our salads for a little bit to tide us over, but there was nothing. We spoke to a group of ladies next to us, they had been waiting 2 hours for their food. We left without eating. I asked for the manager and was directed to the food and beverage manager, when I explained what happened, he seemed completely uninterested. We felt so bad for the server, we tipped the server even though there was no bill.
CONCLUSION: Although this "looks" like a nice restaurant, I would have a hard time recommending it. It was a complete waste of time. So much so we left the casino in its entirety. It's not like this casino is right around the corner, we lost out because of drive time. We went to Lincoln to have great steak. If you have lots of time to waste, then by all means visit. But for right now, no thank you.

Read moreWent here for the first time, and had the absolute worst service of any restaurant I’ve been to. Our waitress was slow, and we would ask for something 15-20 mins later we would get it. Then out meal came out and the steaks were all cooked wrong:( I’d expect better out of sizzler. Then once I complain the take my steak back to get me a new one while all the sides on the table are getting cold and my plate is gone so I could not eat them if I wanted. The waitress makes a point to let me know that she entered it in correctly and it was the kitchens fault. I don’t care whose fault it is and I didn’t order from the kitchen I ordered from you. When my steak comes back I tell them just to box it up I’m done at there restaurant. Then I wait 10 mins for the bill and once I have it another 10 mins goes by (I was going to just pay the bill and leave but cannot get my waitress to come to my table). I then flag down a bus boy and ask for the manager who comes to my table I tell him part of how terrible the service is and he leaves and comes back and comps part of the bill and proceeds to tell me he didn’t know my order was messed up....how do you manage a restaurant that is not busy and are not aware of a customer complaining about an order being messed up. I would have been better off going through a drive through for dinner, would have saved me time, money and probably got my order correct. I am an avid gambler and will never step foot in anther hard rock casino again over this...
