My Wife and I have recently been making the trek out to Bodega Bay for a quick getaway. We have driven by Dinucci's meaning to give them a try, saying I bet that place has very good food. Well today was the day, and we were impressed! The minute we walked in we were greeted by the bartender and what appeared to be a few regulars at the bar. We were promptly seated in the dining room. Nothing fancy but a nice comfortable atmosphere. Our server Alfredo (I believe that was his name) was very friendly when we asked about items on the menu. Now to the star of the show, the food! The minestrone and sourdough bread that comes with your entree is very tasty. The bread had so much flavor and was nice and fluffy, not too doughy. The minestrone had bits of meat, pasta, vegetables and the broth was full of flavor. I would have licked my bowl if I wasn't in a restaurant😆. Next came our appetizer, the burrata!!! (It came after the soup but that's ok). It came with four pieces of sourdough bread with garlic butter melted on it, arugula, peaches, prosciutto, and the burrata that was drizzled with a honey and balsamic glaze. It was a flavor explosion, so good!!! This was a solid 9, it would be a 10 if the bread was toasted a little bit more but nonetheless, it was amazing. Next was the entrees. My Wife and I both went with the spaghetti and Bolognese sauce. We also added meatballs to each entree. The sauce was nice and thick, not watery at all. The seasoning in the sauce was balanced well, a touch of sweetness but not overwhelming. Again, I would have licked the sauce off my plate but luckily there's bread to pick up the extra sauce. It was too good to waste. Lastly, we couldn't pass up on the spumoni ice cream. Nice and creamy and not overly sweet. It was a nice ending to a good dining experience. I wished I lived closer because I would be there weekly. Everytime I head up to Bodega Bay, I will definitely be stopping at Dinucci's.

Update to my previous review. We came here tonight, Oct 4th to have dinner for my birthday since we are camping at Dillon beach. Had a reservation. Family of 4. Got seated quickly. A little cramped in there. Took 15- 20 before our server came. Got some water, ordered our food. Received our soup, bread, antipasta tray in a few minutes. All of those items were good. Salad came out several minutes after that. Then we were left to wait. And wait. 30 minutes later the ravioli came out. We were told our food was coming soon. We sat there for an hour from the time we ordered before our food came. All that time we waited, our server never asked if I wanted another glass of wine or asked my boys if they wanted another soda. They did get a refill but only because we asked for one. Our server told us the table next to us got their food first because they ordered al a carte and didn't have soup. Soup that is already made so that's weird. Also he told us because our boys got chicken strips and fish and chips is why it was taking so long. On to our food. My eggplant parm which I usually love was mushy and burnt tasting. The boys fries were disgusting. We had only been eating for 10 minutes when asked if we wanted boxes. Suddenly, everyone is in a hurry I guess. We arrived at 5:50 pm and left at 7:30. Our food got to us at 7:16. Very disappointing experience with only a few I'm sorry for the wait. Had we been offered more to drink while waiting or even had our drinks comped, that would have been appreciated. But nothing. Not sure if we will return after this. Previous review- Camping at nearby Dillon beach, we came here to celebrate a few birthdays in our family. We had a large party which they accommodated. Food was amazing and so much too. Eggplant parmesean was delicious as was the minestrone. Service was great as well. Sorry if we were a bit rowdy. Will definitely be back

Considering its location, there are not a lot of other options close by. We chose to dine here since our family is vacationing 9 miles away. You will have to get there early or make a reservation because at the dinner rush, this place is packed. We arrived without a reservation and had a 30 minute wait. Luck was on our side as a few patrons left the counter in the packed bar so we were able to have a seat and a quick cocktail. We chose to order the family style dinners. Again, luck was on our side as we secured the last serving of prime rib. All of our orders looked and tasted fabulous. All 6 of us left satisfied and full. Surprisingly, the meal and drinks were very affordable for the quality and quality we were served. My wife and I had to double check the bill as we assumed the total was much higher, but everything was correct. Amazed at the absolute deal of a meal, we had to leave a larger tip for the amazing service. We do not get to travel to this area much. So if we return, I would recommend and dine here again.

I am writing this in the middle of the covid pandemic so the service I received might not reflect them during regular business practices. They have outdoor seating under a tent like you see in weddings, they also had some music playing which was nice little ambience, overall the location is great and conveniently located right off the main road with plenty of parking so easy to access. The two complaints I had would be that they were severely understaffed and they basically just had one waitress trying to serve all the tables at once and her service was fantastic it just isn't viable to try and serve everyone especially when they had a party of 15 to 20 people show up halfway through dinner service. Also the hostess was on her phone half the time and I get it was slow but maybe just go inside while waiting for guests to arrive so it doesn't look like you don't care about attending to people. The food was good and hardy it wasn't anything super special but again I'm not sure if they had a limited menu since it's my first time. definitely not a bad place to stop over if you and your friends were out on the coastline and just driving back home. Prices seemed moderate to high for what we had. Overall okay service if they had more servers or limited the number of large parties I feel like that would significantly reduce the wait times for just basic things like waiting for water and order taking. The food was good but nothing to memorable. The views in the area are nice and relaxing to look out...
