El Marinero — Restaurant in California

I was there on a Sunday with my family.when we recieved our drinks we only got the salsa and no chips.my husband kept telling me that the food was actually talking a while.But i kept saying to wait.After a while he kept saying the same while raising his voice.The lady next to us returned her plate tellin the waitress that they put alot of sour cream and the rice was cold.my husband got really mad and started saying out loud that we were leaving the place and wanted to only pay for our drinks.the lady with short blond hair said that it was ok and to excuse the wait for they had other oders before us.our kids wanted to go and get Carls Jr. Instead.And i old the lady who returnd her plate that at least at Carls Jr we would get it fast through drive through.we walkd outside and not the owner but a waitress came to us and told is she felt bad.We often go there after going to the flea market so we have been some regular customers until now.Really bad place.And if u notice when u walk inside there lots of cables, a lonely bar, and some waitresses show their skin and cleavage.When Im out there dining with my family i dont want to see that the first thing when taking my order.There's children present.cover yourself.I dont know whether look at eyes or down there.Husband and I agreed to not stop there next time.never experienced...

I had a dozen mussels for an appetizer and they were not good. I don't know if they fried them, but the mussels had a lot of oil on them and had a strange burnt taste to them. I also ordered a seafood caldo with head on shrimps, fish, clam, mussels and scallops. The broth was good, however, the head on shrimps were not fresh and I can tell they were old possibly freezer burned. I started peeling the shell, and the whole tail meat broke apart on me into bits. I was disappointed. The only seafood that was good is the fish and mussels. The place was dirty and so was the top of the tortilla warmer. How many hands have touched it and left the top cover dirty? 🤷 The shrimp gave me really bad runs.😫 I won't be returning back and would not recommend this place to my family or friends. Food took a long time to get to us. It was 3 of us and we didn't order anything elaborate. They brought us the wrong plate, not what we ordered! We called the waitress to explain because she never came to check up on us. Then the manager came, took the plate but instead of fixing the problem.....she canceled the order and we were all waiting for the 3rd plate so we can all eat together.....we finally waived down the waitress again. And she stated, "there is no order getting done for you, you said that you didn't want them!" They were soo unprofessional about the situation. Handled it very poorly. I will never go there again. And the rest of my family liked going there once in a while .....but...
