I happened upon this hidden gem today while driving by on my way to something else, and I just had to turn around to check it out! The sign promising 14 craft beers on tap caught my eye. 👀 The setting is very inviting, tucked away in the hillside along winding Reche Rd, right across the street from Live Oak County Park. Beautiful old oak trees outside for shade (or sun in spots), relaxing natural atmosphere with lots of potted plants, rustic wine barrel tables and string lights on the covered patio (plus heaters for cooler days/nights), tons of exterior options for large groups or small gatherings, and the intimate interior seating area + bar are very warm and cozy. You feel instantly transported to a different place and time. I ordered a glass of Cabernet from Fallbrook Winery, very local and delicious, and two tacos. I got lucky - it was happy hour, so my glass of wine was $1 off (daily from 2-5pm, $1 off beer too). My tacos were so tasty I forgot to take a photo before I took a bite! 😂 I got a shredded beef taco and a fish taco - both were great! Really good flavor in the shredded beef itself with a very crunchy taco shell, and the fish was fried crispy. I'll definitely stop by here again the next time I'm in the area. Friendly service, and I left with a full belly and a smile on my face. 😋

This is a little Mexican restaurant in Fallbrook. Main items are Mexican food, but they also have other items like burgers and fish and chips. They have 14 beers on tap plus bottles and 3 different wine labels to choose from. Been there quite a few times and everything I’ve had has been good. They have a happy hour Monday- Friday with $1 off beer and wine and $5 food items. Good size portions and great prices. They do a good takeout business and parking lot is full many evenings. Not much inside seating but lots of tables outside. They have fans and heaters. Parking is tight. They have a small gravel parking lot that gets full but there is parking across the street when the park is open. Place is both pet and kid friendly. 😁

This is the local Hangout for all those who live near the Live Oak Park area. Great food and service. They serve beer on tap and wine with happy hour from 2PM to 5PM. Of course their number one draw is their food, Mexican and it is great!!! We live close to the restaurant so most of the time we phone our order in and pick it up 15 to 20 minutes later. Whatever works El Parque is a great place to get food! We visited El Parque again last night to have a quick bite to eat! We were worried about the parking because that is one of the drawbacks of the restaurant, not enough parking! We lucked out, it wasn't that crowded!

This is a nice little place for tasty Mexican food. The servers are very friendly and we can bring our dogs. We had a nice lunch, and then ordered something to go. My husband was disappointed in the burrito. He said too much Rice in the burrito. I enjoyed my Carne asada and Pollo asada tacos. The beer was okay, a little flat. I thought maybe a glass of Merlot would be tasty with some chips and salsa while we waited for our to go order. Unfortunately, my to go order was misunderstood, and instead of making it right, I felt I settled. I didnt leave feeling good about my purchase. If there was an email address for El Parque, I would email you, but there is only a phone number to call that the person taking orders answers. Can management please contact me? I ended up paying extra money for a meal I didn't ask for and never got the glass of wine with chips and salsa while we waited for our to go order to be prepared. We waited quite a while for the to go meal, and I entered the building two times to check on things, but no one was at the counter, they were very busy. I trusted that our food would be out. I didn't want to make a scene about my glass of wine while thye were already working on it. I was being patient, but that was a mistake on my part. When it came out everything was packed up to go. I had a Melt instead of a glass of Merlot , so sad for me. If I sent the food back you'd throw it away. So basically, I paid for a mistake you guys made. The melt should have been refunded. I was offered the glass of wine and a taco or something, since the wine was $2 less than the melt. Not even a $2 refund, plus my wine was offered. I had been there for over an hour, I already ate, and now it's throw out an entire burger and fries and wait longer for my wine plus get more food...I can't throw food out, not in good conscience. To make it right, I should have gotten my money back, and been able to keep the food from being wasted. My chips and salsa are still sitting in the container here at home. Ill own the fact that maybe I wasn't clear enough, I guess I could have reiterated that I want the chips, salsa, and wine to come out before the to go order. But my order wasnt heard correctly, and I feel if a mistake is made, the establishment should own it and give an appropriate refund. I spent $60 at a Taco Shop, For 3 meals and 2 beers, and 1 glass of wine I never got...I kinda think El Parque did me wrong by not offering a refund for the melt I didn't ask for. Like I said, I'd email if there was further contact information. Mr Rodarte, are you the owner? You are not a BBB establishment, however Mr Rodarte is listed as the owner. Will you please have someone contact me to discuss further. Its not the $2, it's the principle, and taking care of your customers. I want to be able to go back knowing if a mistake is made while I'm watching that it will be taken care of. Most importantly, if a mistake is made while no one is watching will the right choice be made? Do the servers have the authority to give a refund? I look forward to discussing this with...

It was a cool place and I hate to leave this place a less than great review but it just wasnt that great! I ordered a California burrito which is made the right freaking way here by the way (carne asada potatoes sour cream guacamole cheese) But when I got my burrito I couldn’t help but be overall disappointed by the end result. It was a big burrito that’s great and all but the tortilla was almost raw textured and spongy. I kept eating and noticed the meat tasted almost exactly like taco bell seasoning it was good but??? Idk maybe it’s just incredibly similar... but everything in the burrito was fresh and easy to eat. The over all the flavor though was super flat and just lacked any kind of luster or seasoning... I was a little bummed to see that the burrito was really unbalanced or just rolled the wrong way because my ingredients were separated from one side and the other.... if you’re a burrito lover like me then you know my pain when you get a mouth full of just cheese or just sour cream lol yum! I feel like maybe my burrito could have been better maybe it was an off day. The girl at the counter was super nice and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll be back to try more but it wasn’t super amazing I won’t be...
