The place seemed to be clean and very empty at the time my wife, daughter and I arrived. It was around 2 pm on a Sunday. The waitress was nice, she brought us our drinks and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. My wife ordered the Enchiladas Verde and I the Chicken Avocado Salad. My daughter just got fries. Their plates came out first and they looked alright. My daughter's fries though had no flavor at all. You could tell they used frozen fries and they didn't salt them. Anyways when my plate came out, the chicken seemed odd to me because it looked cooked, it was tan in color and had like pepper on it. But it was cold to the touch. I felt that it was wrong from that point. In my head I thought, these guys gave me old chicken they had in the fridge that had been cooked and stored for who knows what reason. I went ahead and tried it. Bad, bad idea. It was sour. Kind of the taste of a sour cheese or milk. This stuff was as it seemed. Old reused food. I right away told the waitress. I told her the chicken taste sour. She came up with an excuse that it's the chicken they prepare in the morning for the fajitas so it had viniger and soy on them. I didn't believe her but didn't want to argue. If it was the fajita meat prepared why the hell was it already cooked... wouldn't it have been raw so they could cook it when someone ordered fajitas. I told her I didn't want anything else but she insisted so I told her I would have a plain salad with bacon and avocado. Finally it came out and was good. People, they reused that chicken in my salad so watch out. I know it was spoiled and I know it had been cooked a long time before my salad was ordered. I will never again eat or even look at that place due to the experience I had with them. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEl pueblo Restraunt provides catering services, and they also let their cook and his wife do the catering service if the Restraunt is booked the day of your event. Do not use the cook or any other employees from the Restraunt. the owner of the Restraunt gave us his word everything would turn out good, and it didn't. 103 plates were not accounted for the day of our event. From those 103 plates were all food that they took back, and hid them, while not informing us they were doing so. Be careful people, take your own plates like we did, to keep track of how much food has been served, and do not pay until you feel like you have gotten your money's worth! We have also tried discussing this issue with them but it was all argument and hostile with the people that were in charge of the catering. And at the end of the day it is not about the money it is all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have eaten here multiple times. One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp fajitas. However, upon my last visit I was shocked with my experience. I asked the server if their fish soup was made with tilapia and she said yes. I donāt care for tilapia so I requested a dish without it. After reading the menu closely, I ordered a āred snapperā fish dish. It took 25 minutes to arrive to the table, and my party had finished eating at this point. Not once did the server come back to the table. Finally they emerged from the kitchen, and delivered a plate that looked suspicious. I could tell immediately it was tilapia. WHY TRY TO PASS OFF ONE TYPE OF FISH FOR ANOTHER? Is that even ethical? After tasting a piece my colleagues confirmed the truth. On a positive note, I did not pay for my meal as I believe they accepted their blunder, yet NO...
