Saturday, 1/29/2022 - Went to Frasinetti's Winery & Restaurant for the 1st time. This restaurant is right off Florin Road in Sacramento, CA by the train track. A little hidden gem in the city right in this residential area. They are open Thursday- Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. They only serve clam chowder on Fridays. Upon arrival:

It was fishy and just over all not good. Followed by minestrone soup. It was not bad, but not what I would expect from a place like this. Next the main course clam linguine and pot roast. I didnt try the pot roast but my wife was disappointed. I had the clam linguine. It tasted like the broth was salt water with chilli, more than a wine, butter, garlic as I anticipated. The lunch was meh, the waiter tended to insert himself into our conversations no matter how inappropriate ( I can say with certainty that there was 'mansplaining' involved), and the wine was really just much too sweet for my preference. The people in the tasting room were nice, but it was a little uncomfortable when they completely disagreed on which order to pour wine in and then tried to discredit the other.
