Julia's Taqueria — Restaurant in California

I wanted so badly to like this place. It is less than 2 miles from my home. It has a drive-thru window. Two pluses for days we work late. Unfortunately, it was not good at all. I started with a chicken taco. It was very spicy and dripping with grease. The asada tostada and asada quesadilla were even greasier and had absolutely no flavor. The tostada tasted like a bland burger with sour cream and avacado. The quesadilla was burned on one side. Hubby said his chicken burrito was good, and he agreed that the chicken taco was way too greasy. Also, no chopped onions nor cilantro on the tacos. Was I supposed to ask for that? Everything I ordered had sour cream, tomato slice and way too much shredded iceberg lettuce. I am so disappointed. 3 stars because it is a short drive and has a drive-thru window. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Food is always good but, today, my girl got a veggie burrito that was absolutely SMOTHERED in super hot salsa. She couldn't eat it. I really like spicy food and after taking a bite of hers, my mouth was literally on fire. We politely explained the best we could, that it was WAY too hot. The ladies refused to apologize OR replace the burrito. But we are very polite people and payed full price for another burrito. Definitely not coming back here again after this incident... & I've been coming here for literally 20 years. No more. You'll get better food & service at the taco trucks...

Julia's Taqueria is the headquarters for all the Hidalguense Taquerias including the one on East Ave & Lander St. in Turlock & the one on Santa Fe in Denair. They carry top quality out their in the Taco Truck industry. I know for a fact they throw away all the left overs every single nite from all trucks if any,Employess check in every single morning @ 5am preparing n cooking all the meats throughly,n Dicing all the veggies n making all the salsa's fresh, I would totally recommend them to everyone! I eat here on the daily bases n never gotton sick not to mention their great...
